That is the tricky question many homeowners worry about. Whether you like a bold, colorful room or something crisp and light, finding that perfect color everyone loves on walls can be an adventure.
Choosing neutral paint colors for your walls gives you timeless style. Neutral tones also allow for fun pops of color in your home furnishings and decor choices. I absolutely love these neutral paint colors from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams that have also won over many other peoples’ hearts. Plus, they all look great everywhere and anywhere!

Blueprint by Behr is an amazing grey blue color. Did my bathroom in it, looks great with nickel accents.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing with us how much you have liked that one! I’m in love with the grey blues right now!
I like Dust Bunny by Valspar.

Any idea where the bar stools are from in the kitchen picture number 4 (paint color pure white)?
Love Revere Pewter! Painted my dining room this color!
Oh yes! That’s a good one, Ashley!
In the very first pic, what is the darker color the wall is already painted?
Hi Jen! I believe that one is – Willow Creek 1468 | Benjamin Moore. Hope that helps!
I would love to know where the artwork in the last picture is from?
Hey HBH! That is the Opalhouse Canvas from Target!
I used Revere Pewter in my entire downstairs except 2 of the bedrooms are painted Sea Salt. I’m still happy with my choices after 6 years! Everyone comments on the Revere Pewter color. It looks good all day and so easy to choose decor!
Oh cool! SO awesome the colors still look so good after 6 years! Thanks for the feedback!
The white that I use in my house is “Maui Mist” from Behr. It’s got just a touch of bluish purple making it feel fresh and bright! Since my house has 1970’s indirect lighting, the light paint color helps offset the feeling that my house is dark!
Sounds like a great white color! Thanks for the tip, Emily! I have also noticed that paint color can help in darker spaces!
I did my whole house in Lazy Gray by Sherwin Williams. I did my kitchen cabinets in Snowbound by SW as well. The cool gray with the whites get a lot of compliments. I did the sea salt in my laundry room and Love it! I had the Sherwin Williams professional come and help me pick the colors. She threw out Steely Gray also for some accent walls and bathrooms. I live in the desert and love having cooler colors for my interior. The house feels beachy on the inside and terra cotta-ish on the outside ha ha!
SWEET! I love your color choices! Grays are my favorite! Thanks for sharing!
Love, love, love this new site. I have such a difficult time with decorating and choosing colors. I have been trying to choose carpet and counter tops for over a year. I’m going to be watching this website daily.
