Kids Bowl FREE All Summer Long
Here’s a great way to get your kids out of the house and doing something active this summer! At bowling alleys across the country, Kids Bowl Free all summer long! Just head on over here and click your state on the map to find a participating location near you.
Note that you will need to sign up your children (even if you have done this in the past) and they will then be able to get 2 FREE games of bowling per day. Each bowling alley has its own start and finish dates and age restrictions, which you will see when you select one from the list. There is also a family pass available for $24.95, which allows adults to bowl with the kids at a huge discount.
Keep in mind that you do have to pay taxes as well as the shoe rental fee, which does vary by location. Out of curiosity, I randomly called several participating bowling alleys and the shoe rentals varied from $2-$3.28 per shoe rental depending on age. As a result, I do recommend that you call your local participating bowling alley to find out the shoe rental cost before you make a special trip.
Have fun and hope that you bowl better than I do! 😉
(Thanks Kim, Victoria, and Kellie!)
Has any one got the family pass for the 4 adults? Do you have to specify the names of adults, or can it be any adult that go with the kids? Thanks!
You have to specify the names. Every Sunday our week of coupons get emailed to us to print. On them are my kids and my husband and I.
We love the family pass! It pays for itself the first time you go! 🙂
That’s awesome! I have a four and three year old, do you think they could do it or would they have age limits? Happy Monday. Thanks.
I have a 6 and 3 yr.old an they really injoy it. So I think they will like it as well.
The only age limit is the child has to be under twelve. This is our third summer doing it and I have a six and a three year old.
Thanks 🙂
The family pass has space for up to 4 adults. You can change the names but you are limited to only a certain number of times. You can also add and change the kids names a couple of times too. We did this last year and then signed up for a family league. My 5 year old just did his first tournament and bowled a 147 – no bumpers!! We love kids bowl free. It’s great for when it’s too hot to do anything outside. My son started bowling at 3 and I’ve met some kids who started at 2. Just please watch your kids and follow the rules – we’ve seen some bad injuries.
Last year I used Amazon gift cards from collecting swagbucks and bought bowling shoes for hubby and myself (cute pink & white ones). They definitely paid for themselves by the end of the summer. This year I bought my son shoes online. Luckily, they run big, so he might make it two summers with them, or at least I can pass them down to my daughter. We lucked out living two miles from a bowling alley that participates in the program.
I was wondering if you have shoes do they still make you pay the rental fee anyway?
No, you do not have to pay the rental fee if you have your own shoes. My husband and I have also bought some – as an adult, they wear out slowly. My husband had his first pair for 8 years (and he belonged to a bowling league for some of that). The $30 the shoes cost pay for themselves very quickly.
Thanks!
I enrolled my two in this and took them Friday, it was $8.89 for shoe rental. If they wanted to bowl more than the two free games it was $1.29 per person per game for them. So not too bad for bowling
Bummer, absolutely nothing in the New Orleans metro area. The closest place is over 50 miles away (Hammond or Houma).
Thanks for checking CCC. Disappointing news but hopefully another deal will show up!
Fantastic deal. Thanks Collin.
Thank you Collin! I’ve never heard of this deal before now. Just signed us up for the family pass. Looks like we’ll have fun bowling a lot this summer!
My family pass says $39.95. Is there a coupon or code I’m missing?
Just signed up! This looks awesome! Great idea guys on getting a pair of bowling shoes. I bet it will be pretty easy to pick up a used pair!
