Here’s what our Hip team said they pay full price for…
“I feel like I pay full price for everything. 😂 Obviously, if something I use goes on sale, I’ll be sure to stock up, but I find that most of my toxic-free lifestyle choices rarely go on sale, and I’m not willing to compromise and buy products that don’t align with me anymore. Full price life, on a budget, I guess? lol” – Sara
“These items I will repurchase at full cost no matter what the price is —
- Fun drinks I love (Bubblr energy drinks, Brew Dr. kombucha, etc.)
- Fine’ry Without A Trace perfume
- Frenshe perfume (any of the scents, they’re all worth it)
- Good Molecules Discoloration Serum
- Zum laundry detergent (Frankincense and Myrrh)
Most things I feel like I repurchase or buy often either go on sale often, or have a comparable item. If I run out of any of my full price favorites, I’m restocking regardless before the next sale lol. – Monica
“Plants at my local flower nursery. In fact, sometimes I don’t even look at the price because I get too caught up in how stunning each plant is after the next! I’ve recently taken up gardening and I’m realizing it’s not a cheap hobby lol 😂 But it’s brought me so much joy, so I would say the return on investment is priceless.” – Emily
We can’t wait to hear all about your so-good-they’re-worth-every-penny purchases!
Stay tuned for more Hip Birthday giveaway posts all week long! 🎉 Until then, let’s get back to the deals…
I order/ buy my hair dye and have my hair dresser use it. Im allergic to anything else. It’s never on sale but it’s worth it to me.
I would say I rarely pay full price for anything, you have to save where you can!
But I say toothpaste is something I don’t skimp on I like a specific name and series.
OEM (original equipment manufacturer) car parts especially of the engine bay. Sometimes a parts store can do a decent knock off but my car likes its OEM parts. If I try to skimp on certain parts I will be the one who pays, literally. Treat it good to get 300-400 thousand miles.
Pants that aren’t too long for me!
sprite zero because nothing else tastes exactly like it
Good coffee
Nilla wafers
Nikes
I still look for good deals but will pay to get them regardless.
Coffee from Dunkin Donuts
My women’s personal products. Poise liners are the only ones I buy. A coupon for them is great, but I’ll buy them even without one.
My Brooks shoes for walking. Costs a lot more than I’d like but has saved me from the lower back pain I used to get from other shoes.
I’d say Dukes mayo. Otherwise, I almost always get whatever is on sale.
ASICS running shoes, always Hopi g for a sale.
Shoes. I’m a teacher and there is value in treating your feet well!
lump crab meat, I just love love making my own crab cakes
I guess it would depend on need at the time. If I have no choice I’ll pay full price but otherwise I do everything I can to try and find a deal.
Good chapstick and face cream
CeraVe because nothing is quite like it!
I will pay full price for quality coffee beans. I don’t frequent coffee shops, so this investment feels special and keeps me from spending money on drinks that I don’t need.
The Santa Maria marinated tri tip from Walmart. It’s so yummy!
My moisturizers. Eye and face. Mom always said you need to moisturize your skin.
Ice cream without additives to enjoy with kiddos!
An IPad. I have tried using Kindle Fires and it doesn’t compare!
I love deals and really try to save money where I can, but my monthly trip to my hair salon is worth every penny!
Hoka Bondi’s … my feet are the most important yhing!!
The one thing I always pay full price for is Osteo Bi-flex.
Fairlife Chocolate Milk is the best! Delicious, higher in protein, lactose free, creamy, chocolatey, YUM!
Bras, nothing compares to a quality bra that fits great!
Medicine as I have no choice when it is needed. Other things I can wait for a sale or find better pricing. 😝
I would pay full price for my eye and face creams. I can’t live without my philosphy products!
Lane Bryant Strapless Bras.
sneakers that don’t hurt after wearing for an hour
Full price for good vitamins/supplements
Dove Dark Chocolate
i always pay full price with my necessity gadgets such as phones and laptops.laptops which i use for work.i may try to see if they have deals but if not i go full price on it without regrets.
My face moisturizer!!
Great kitchen gadgets like my Kitchenaid !
My Starbucks morning coffee (they don’t have deals often anyway)!
My shoes, including Hokas, ASICS and Olukais. Keeping my feet healthy is worth a lot!
I ALWAYS buy name brand shoes (New Balance for sneakers, Clarks for sandals, and Bombas for house slippers). I’ve learned my lesson by trying to buy cheaper shoes and my poor feet pay for it. I also get back pain without proper foot support. I’d rather spend more money on a reliable name brand rather than find some cheap replacements. Not worth it in my opinion.
I very rarely pay full price for anything unless I absolutely need it at the time. But I’m very particular about my toiletries especially toothpaste so if I need it I’m going to pay full price.
Diet Mountain Dew
I would gladly pay full price for gasoline, because you have to have it!
Medicines, necessities
I love good and gather products at Target! I will always pay full price for Kraft Mac n cheese though!
Organic food
For me not to search for a promo code, it has to be something with EXTREMELY limited availability, like concert tickets. However, I will pass up an opportunity to skimp when it comes to nonstop flights vs. multiple plane changes! I am too nervous about missing a connecting flight or losing my luggage! I also inadvertently had to pay for a “preferred room” at Disney due to limited inventory and the proximity to dining, bus stops, pool, and gym was 100% worth it.
Heinz ketchup. Nothing else comes close
Oregon Trails sugar free Chai Tea latte
Shoes
Dr. Pepper Zero – I know, I know….
Coffee and bras lol
