Pedigree is Reimbursing Dog Adoption Fees – Today ONLY!
Thinking of adding a furry friend to the family? Pedigree will reimburse your new dog’s adoption fee!
Through today, June 9th, Pedigree is celebrating love at first sight by hosting a Pedigree Adoption Drive and offering to reimburse you for your dog adoption fees (up to $200)!
Pedigree hopes this incentive will inspire willing homes to welcome a new furry family member. 🐾
Here’s how to participate…
To participate, adopt a dog at a local shelter or animal rescue today, June 9th. Then, head to Pedigree.com/adoption-drive to submit an adoption receipt to Pedigree by July 10th, 2024. You’ll also need to provide your email address, physical address, and dog’s name.
The event is taking place nationwide and Pedigree is willing to reimburse up to $100,000 in adoption fees. You aren’t reimbursed for each pet you adopt so keep that in mind. Instead, each household is eligible for a single reimbursement of up to $200.
As Pedigree has a $100,000 cap, it’s best to submit your receipt as early as possible to ensure reimbursement!
Don’t forget to share your adoption story on social media…
The brand wants to spread awareness. In addition to recruiting advocates and influencers to help shine a spotlight on the issue, Pedigree is encouraging families like yours to share their love-at-first-sight adoption stories on social media using the #PEDIGREEAdopt.
According to the brand’s website, in 2023 alone, 3.2 million dogs ended up in shelters and nearly half never found home. 💔
Even if you are unable to adopt this year, Pedigree hopes animal lovers will join up with a local shelter to see if there are opportunities to volunteer or donate. You can also follow Pedigree on social media at @PEDIGREEUS.

Thanks for posting this! For the past 1 1/2 years, shelters across the country have been overflowing with pets, especially large dogs. If people can’t adopt, consider fostering. Many shelters need fosters even for a brief period of time, and often provide supplies. Appreciate you posting this H2S, as it reaches such a wide audience. If you can’t foster, adopt, or volunteer, watch H2S for all the amazing deals on pet supplies and consider donating those to your local shelter or rescue, many of which now run pet pantries to help pet families in need!
You’re very welcome, Lisa! Thanks for sharing this valuable information on the best ways to help! 💕🙌
