Wiers Farm Produce Recalls Products Sold at Walmart, Kroger, Save-A-Lot, & More
Have you heard of the Wiers Farm Listeria recall? There has been a recent update. Here’s what to know…
There has been a recent update to the list of products affected by a voluntary recall from Wiers Farm of Willard, OH. On July 12th, Wiers expanded the recall to include a number of whole cucumbers with a packed date of June 5, 2024, and bagged salad cucumbers with pack dates of June 5 and June 6, 2024. These items may possibly be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes though no illness has been reported to date.
These items join a long list of produce that may be contaminated by Listeria. The produce was all packed between July 5 and July 12, 2024. Major grocery stores sold these products – Kroger, Walmart, Shop N Save, Save a Lot, and more.

These items were sold at select Walmart stores in CT, DE, IL, IN, KY, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, and WV:
- Wiers Farm Bagged Poblano, 16 oz. bag – UPC 073064202581

- Wiers Farm Bagged Green Beans, variable weight bag – UPC 073064200846
- Wiers Farm Bagged Salad Cucumber, 2 lb. bag – UPC 073064459619
- Wiers Farm Bagged Serrano, 4 oz. bag – UPC 073064201829

These items were sold in many states nationwide in bulk either individually or by the pound:
- Anaheim peppers
- Cilantro – sold in bunches
- Cubanelle peppers
- Cucumber – whole
- Green beans
- Green Bell Pepper
- Habanero peppers
- Hungarian Wax peppers
- Jalapeno peppers
- Mixed Vegetable Box (shipped to Cleveland and Youngstown, Ohio Foodbanks only)
- Mustard Greens – sold in bunches
- Pickling Cucumber
- Plain Parsley – sold in bunches
- Poblano peppers
- Serrano peppers
- Tomatillos

What are the symptoms of Listeria?
