Here’s what Hip2 Save Readers have to say about PineCone Research

Love Pinecone. It pays for all my Amazon and Starbucks purchases. It is tedious but in one year I earned $145. And sometimes they send you full sized product for you to test out. Just this month I received Tide, Reynolds Wrap and anchovy paste. Plus $3 for giving my feedback on each item.

Highly recommend this site. I get one or two surveys each week, sometimes more. Each survey is short, totally worth $3. The best part is I don’t need to answer tons of questions and then get disqualified lol. I’ve been with them for around 4 years. At the end of the year, I cash out to treat myself. Last year I bought a Tiffany necklace.

I really love Pinecone Research. I have been a member a little over a year and have cashed in around $200. Plus I have received 6 full sized products, ranging from dog items to personal care, to try out.

I love PInecone, been doing the survey for around 15 years, I sometimes get items to try, so for those ones I end up getting a second survey for another 3.00. You can cash in at any time. I usually wait until I have 12 or more dollars to cash out.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience Tarri!

  2. Andrea

    Agreed I love it also!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Super glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback Andrea!

  3. Thinn

I been trying it for 7/8 times , never get it.

    • Sarah

Me too!! I never even hear anything from them, not in spam/junk folders either.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Darn! Hopefully soon!

Pinecone is my most favorite survey company. I have tried a few different ones and have come to realize that they are not all the same and most are not really worth the effort. Here’s another one that I recently signed up for and I like it a lot.

I’ve been participating with Pinecone for the last several years. I do like that you can cash out easily but their surveys are pretty long.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear the surveys can be long. Thanks so much for your honest review!

  6. Sarah

I have been doing pinecone for around 7 years and it’s my favorite survey company. I love that it’s so easy to cash out after one survey (300 points per survey, 300 points = $3). I have it linked to my PayPal account, so it’s easy. I find I can usually complete a survey in about 15 minutes, which seems reasonable to me.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Awesome to hear how much you have enjoyed it over the years Sarah!

This is the 3rd time I’ve signed up, and 3rd time I’ve been rejected. I suspect I’m considered “too old” lol. May I ask how old are all of you folks who participate?

    • Denise

Same here Rosie! I’m 47 and have been rejected several times I guess they consider that one foot in the grave..ridiculous

      • LindaS

Same here… I’m 55 and do about 1/2 of the grocery shopping so I think those 2 factors keep me from qualifying. But I’ll keep trying, maybe some day.

    • Joni

I’m 54 and have been a “member” for about a year or so.

    • Brittany

I’m 26 and do all the grocery shopping and I never get accepted.

    • $$$$$

I’m 48, soon to be 49 and am a pinecone member. I have been a member a couple of years. The extra cash has been really helpful. I usually cash out to my PayPal account.

Off the subject but what are some good places to buy used clothes I have tried thread up but I did not feel price matched quality. I am in my fifties and getting back in the workforce Thank you.

    • ros

I use poshmark cuz its people selling their clothes directly and u can make an offer so they can lower their prices sometimes. There are so many brands available and it feels like a community with mostly nice helpful women. If u download and use code BMLYD u can get a 5 dollar credit for signing up. Shipping is 6 dollars, now though, so basically itd be like getting one dollar shipping, still good.

    • ros

Theres also Mercari, another buying and selling app but that one is not limited to clothes (poshmark is)

    • Marie

Facebook marketplace or local university classifieds!

    • Raedev

      Have u tried swap.com? It’s pretty good.

    • Steph

Check out your local goodwill & thrift stores. I find amazing deals this way. I don’t care for online used items because I am really picky & usually it won’t meet my standards. Anything I buy used still looks new so I need to look it over first!

Thanks for suggestions I’ll check them. Went to many yard sales Thursday through Sunday got enough for 14 separate outfits. Skirts, pants and blouses did not pay more than $5. for any piece paid all $73. Most have tags. I’m still elated high quality long lasting now can buy (Walmart) inexpensive pieces to extend outfits. WOW EXCITED. Guess just goes to show 1] don’t just grab to get it over 2] take my time to look 3] be neat they appreciated didn’t just throw stuff around 4] most was overpriced could go to Walmart buy cheaper. I’m not against Walmart I do buy my clothes there just most not of quality and going to last several seasons or washings.

      • $$$$$

Love yard sales. Great way to shop. At a yard sale or 2 I was able to find new clothes with tags. At one sale I found new Wrangler jeans for men, very large size, with tags. I knew they had come from Walmart so I took them to the store and was given cash for the jeans, around $20 at the time. That was before they started giving gift cards when you have no receipt. Most time I don’t find returnable items, but find like new items to wear or give to relatives.

I have it I love it too

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Glad to hear that! 😉
