I really LOVE the Ulta brand of make-up, and I’ve switched to a lot of their products over the high-end make-up I was using. Saves lots of money and the quality is the same or better in same cases! Especially their setting powder and that dark pink mascara. Two of my favorite products and both under $10!
YES! I have been loving their make-up too! Thanks for the feedback, LC! My favorites right now are the cream eyeshadow & liner and their baked eye shadow trio! LOVE them!
Just be careful- their products are made in China which means they are completely unregulated (they haven’t tested Ulta, that I know of, but when testing fake knock-offs of things like tarte and MAC -which are made in China-they found things like heavy toxic metals and feces). China has no environmental laws or consumer protection laws- the government just wants money (even foreign companies that try to make factories over there comply with protecting the environment aren’t having their policies followed as the local Chinese managers don’t care and pocket the money instead or write it in as savings to the company in hopes of a promotion- one of my friends works for a US company with factories in China and is in the corporate compliance field and said that he was floored policies weren’t being followed and the Chinese managers basically said, “who cares” when discussing proper disposal of waste… that lack of protections doesn’t just effect the Chinese, but the entire world… not to mention the workers making these products are essentially slave laborers (paid pretty much nothing and working 12-20 hours a day in sweatshop style conditions) … when consumers buy Chinese made products, they are supporting heavy environmental pollution, slave labor, and potentially dangerous products)… I imagine that cost is much more than saving a few bucks on makeup or other products… now if these issues were fixed, that would be one thing, but of course then it wouldn’t be so cheap to manufacture there

Note that this coupon is not good on prestige brands like Urban Decay, Tarte, or even Living Proof. The exclusion list is hard to find on the Ulta website, so googling “Ultra brand exclusions” will get you there. My favorite brands that don’t have the exclusion are Colourpop, BH Cosmetics, Pacifica, Derma-E, Real Techniques, and EcoTools (all cruelty-free as well!). Plus pretty much all the drugstore brands like Maybelline and Revlon.
