Costco Has Affordable Cotton Towels That Actually Last!
Need new towels? I have been using the Charisma Costco towels for the last 3 years and swear by them!
Looking for a new set of luxury bath towels?
I know the struggle of finding quality, affordable towels that last a long time without falling apart or looking dingy. That’s why I’m sold on how great the Charisma brand Costco towels are. I love that they are affordable, super soft, and high-quality 100% cotton, too!

I’m a fan of most things Costco, including their large cotton 35” x 70” bath sheets. We personally love the larger bath sheets because they feel more spa-like to me and provide much more coverage!
If you prefer a smaller-sized towel, check out the Charisma bath towels that measure 30″x 58″.
Here’s what started my new towel journey…
About three years ago, I wanted to replace all of our towels, so I did some quick research online first. Charisma brand bath towels have positive reviews on both Costco.com and Amazon.com. The next time they went on sale in-store at Costco, I picked up about 12 for my kids’ bathroom and for ours.
We have a bunch of them in the white color, but there are other colors to choose from.
3 years later, I admit they don’t look perfect (they’re used daily, of course 😂), but I am still very pleased with how well the bath sheets have held up! The bath sheets are usually around $12.99 each full-price in-store, but they sometimes go on sale for less so you can stock up!
Verdict: These Costco towels rock!
It’s such a bummer to spend a fortune on new towels only to have them start looking ragged soon after. I know, because that’s happened to me!
That said, I’m happy to report that my Charisma towels have held up, and they’re still going strong after about three years of constant use and washing! They are still pretty fluffy, thick, and have no fraying or pilling. YAY! I am super pleased with them, especially considering the price point.
Here’s how to keep towels looking & feeling fresh!
One of my favorite uses of white vinegar around the home is for re-refreshing towels, and no, they don’t smell like vinegar afterward.
I pour 1/2 cup of white vinegar into the fabric softener dispenser of my washer when washing towels once in a while to keep them soft and fresh. It works well to get out funky smells, too. I do also use OxyClean to keep towels white when I notice stains or a dingy color.
Overall, I think our Costco towels have held up well and stains have washed out easily, too. Hooray! Have you tried these bath towels from Costco?

Did you know about this awesome Costco price adjustment policy?!
I just bought some of these at Costco. they were on sale for $4.99. We just started using them but I love them.
Oh wow great find!
Such an amazing price! In store or online? What color? $4.99 for bath towels??
Yes! It’s unreal that they sell these gorgeous cotton towels on sale for 4.99!! We’ve been buying them for several years and absolutely love them! We bought white and charcoal, but they have quite a few colors to choose from. They’re very plush, but dry off the skin quickly. You won’t be disappointed👍👍
These are the best towels!! I will be replacing some older ones at this great price
Thank you!
I definitely love these towels and I consider myself a towel snob. The bath towel size for this brand is very “thirsty” and heavy so I wouldn’t worry about splurging on the bigger bath sheet size unless you really have cabinet space.
Thank you for the tip on the sizes!
Sams club too!
Thank you!
We love these towels. I replaced my towels about a year ago with the bath sheets and my husbands tells everyone that listens about these Costco towels. I recently purchased the bath towels for my daughter since they’re on sale!
Love my charisma towels!!
Thanks for sharing Amy!
Do you happen to know how long this sale lasts?

So much wanted to love these towels. Great price, great reviews….but….found they did not absorb well. As much as hated to do it, had to return them. And washed them beforehand and didn’t use fabric softener either 🙁
Awww, not everyone will like everything. We sure appreciate your honest feedback, Bunny!
I did notice they absorbed much better after 3-4 washes. You may want to try them again.
that’s what i was going to say. sometimes there is a lot of sizing on textiles that is put on during the manufacturing process, and it takes a couple washes to get all that coating off and get the fibers to really fluff up to their full potential.
Yay! I just bought a couple of these towels a few days ago at Costco. So glad to see this!!
So strange to see these so higly rated. Bought a bunch of these a few years ago too and ended up kind of weird matting like. Like the yarn threads bunched together in places. And they feel rough not as soft as when we first started using them.
I was just there yesterday and it was only the white ones. Lol I’m picky I don’t like white towels. I know this and that but I really like the lavender and grey ones.
Love the towels but they are all getting like bleach spots on them. Haven’t changed any products from the towels we had before. Love the towels. Disappointed by the coloring of them.
Charisma quality is the best and has been for years. It’s the only brand I buy. I’ve never had a towel fall apart.
I bought a few, but did not like how thick they were. We have always used lighter towels and my go to is always TJ MAxx and Marshalls. Amazing quality and not so bulky. Easier on the wash machine and dryer. I always buy white so I can bleach them every week. I made the mistake early in life and bought colored towels and they lost their color or were accidentally thrown in with whites and looked horrible.
Thanks for sharing!
I bought these a few years ago and love them!! Need to get more. Thanks!
Nice! Thanks Christine for sharing. 🙂
These are the only towels I buy! I don’t care if JC Penny has a $2.99 towel sale! < I love Cheap> but these towels at Costco are worth every cent.
Oh glad you think so too!
