Here’s why Paige from our team loves these IKEA containers:
“We love these containers at our house! Our adult kids often come to eat dinner and they’re perfect for sending leftovers home. The tall ones are especially the best size for soup!
And since the price is so low, (hello, $5.99!!!) I don’t mind if the kids keep them for an extra-long time…or not make it back home at all. 😏
My youngest daughter likes to use the smaller sized containers for beads and other craft supplies. Plus, they’re MUCH cheaper than the organizers you’ll find at the craft stores.
These are a thumbs-way-up for me!“
Here’s what others had to say about their IKEA PRUTA Food Containers:
“These containers are the perfect size for all sorts of portions and items – from 6 cupcakes that don’t get smashed to entrees and sides for a great left-over meal”
– Stacy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“These are absolutely wonderful! And I love that I can see what’s in each one when I’m looking for something in the fridge. The tops seal nice and tight and have always washed well in the dishwasher without ever staining.”
– Dee ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“We use these containers all of the time! The various sizes make life easy to save small bits of really good recipes as well as larger servings to share. These containers are always the first ones the adult children grab when taking home leftovers so we find ourselves continually purchasing them on our trips to IKEA.”
– Monica ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Did you see this IKEA kitchen gadget for under $10 that we’re loving?
I use these to store my daughters LEGOs! The different sizes are perfect for dividing up the colors of the big “basic” sets 😉
Great idea, Jacks! Thanks for letting us know how useful they have been for LEGOs!
I love these and have had my set for years and have even given some sets as gifts. What’s even crazier is the sets used to be $3.99 some years ago. I couldn’t believe it.
I have these and they have held well for 3 years now. Love that they are stackable. The lids are not leakproof, but great for carrying dry items. I use the smallest one to pack vitamin gummies and dry fruits and nuts for my kids.
Curious to know.. if these are air tight? To store chia seeds, hemp seeds. Flax etc???
I’ve had no problems ( when properly sealed ) & I bought my set YEARS AGO… 🙂
got one and found a few other things, thanks!
Oh cool! You’re welcome, Tracy!
I LOVE these containers! I use the smallest ones in my daughter’s lunch, they’re perfect for cheese & crackers or some cut up fruit. I even have one of them in the bathroom for her elastics–the lid keeps them from spilling all over the place.
IKEA’s garbage bags and food storage bags are the best.
Thanks for the suggestion, Claudia! Good to know how much you have liked those!
