My kids love this sauce so much!
In fact chicken teriyaki is their favorite meal and fortunately it’s pretty simple to make at home with this simple yet flavorful sauce. We serve it with grilled chicken with rice and veggies – it’s over the top DELISH!
Looks so tempting and yummy! Beautiful pics Lina:)
Thanks Brindha! It’s yummy 🙂
How long can u keep this ??? I really like the fact u can control what goes into it . Thx for all u do .
And if you use GF soy sauce, this is a GF recipe!
how many servings is this?
It doesn’t really have servings but probably makes about 1-1.5 cups – was enough for my fam of 4 over chicken. Thanks
What would you recommend this for? Awesome pics.
I use Teriyake for sauteed chicken and veggies (broccoli, onions, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes) over quinoa (or rice). Also good on salmon.
Thanks Jess! I agree with Mel! My kids love teriyaki chicken. Salmon would be awesome as well 🙂
I love it with salmon!
I think you need to write a book with all you awesome recipes and tips!!! That would be a fantastic HipGiveaway!!
Would the Splenda brown sugar work with this?
This is very similar to the teriyaki sauce I make. Mine is a little more authentic to the Japanese though. It’s really good over grilled chicken, or baked chicken, simple garlic, Ginger and a little salt. Then some steamed veggies and we use either quinoa, yakisoba, chow mein (like yakisoba) or forbidden rice (healthier than other rices)
If I make a double batch, will it hold in the fridge for a while?
This recipe was tasty. Could you please change your recipe to say “Less” or “Lower” sodium soy sauce? That is what you used and is shown in your pictures. True Low Sodium soy sauce is very hard to find and very expensive. It also gives the impression (to people who must follow a low sodium diet) that this would be a low sodium dish.
Thank you for your time.
This is SO yummy! Made this sauce for teriyaki chicken rice bowls with steamed veggies. So perfect!
Yay! We love it too 👍
YES LINA! Write a cookbook! I’m with Amy on this idea. I have made more of YOUR recipes than ones from Joanna Gaines cookbook. I’ll be making this one as well. Thank you for sharing your incredible talents with us. You are amazing!
Oh my goodness..thank you so much. This made my day!
This looks yummy! My husband refers to Chinese food as “meat candy” so that popped into my head when I read through this recipe – made me laugh.
Haha yes! It kinda is 🙂 Thanks Jen!
How long does it keep in the fridge?
