Create delicious, chewy 2-ingredient bagels using only Greek yogurt & flour. Plus, try our protein-packed bites with almond flour. These savory bagels are perfect for busy mornings as they whip up in just minutes! Even better, we shared an alternative bagel bite option that’s high in protein, too!

Add your favorite toppings, eat them with eggs, or turn them into tasty sandwiches – the options are endless.

If you’ve been looking for a yummy Greek yogurt bagel recipe, these will be a clear winner – no matter your goals!

For only a couple of main ingredients and very little cooking time, these are both a definite must-try recipe! I love that there’s no yeast required, no boiling, and the dough comes together easily.

Plus, if you’re focused on high protein meals, my Hip sidekick, Sara, shared her 2-ingredient bagel bites:

Sara’s high-protein bagel bites use almond flour instead of regular flour and plain Greek yogurt. Plus, you can mix in your favorite toppings, making them a great high-protein snack that will still satisfy your cravings.

Here’s what you’ll need to whip up her high-protein bagel bites:

  • 2 cups of almond flour
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

sheet pan with various kinds of bagel bites on top

Simply combine your ingredients, roll into balls, and bake at 350°F for about 20-25 mins until golden brown. Let cool and enjoy with cream cheese, butter, jelly, or whatever else you love to eat with bagels.

Here’s how to make my chewy traditional bagels in just 10 minutes using the air fryer!

These 2 ingredient air fryer bagels were so good, they disappeared within minutes

Extra Tips for making these air fryer bagels:

  • If using zero-fat Greek yogurt, drain the liquid on top first.
  • If you don’t have self-rising flour, try this: for each cup of all-purpose flour, add 2 teaspoons of baking powder + 1/2 teaspoon of salt!
  • Love everything-flavored bagels? I do, too! Ideally, my favorite is Everything Bagel Seasoning, like Trader Joe’s carries! I didn’t have that on hand, so I combined poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic flakes, onion flakes, and salt to make my own. It’s so good!
  • You can also bake these in a traditional oven for around 20-25 minutes.

You can even slice and toast these 2 ingredient air fryer bagels

These 2-ingredient bagels taste AMAZING – regardless of which ones you make!

It’s also worth mentioning that this is a Weight Watchers bagel recipe and is said to be 3 smart points per bagel. Consider using this simple dough in other ways too, like breadsticks, pizza, calzones, etc!

And let me know when you do, because I’ll be right over to help taste test! 🤣

You won’t believe the secret ingredient in these protein eggs! 🥚

These are so good and so easy! I’ve only made in the oven, but got an air fryer yesterday and I cannot wait to make them in the air fryer! I see a fried egg bagelwich in my future!

  3. Patricia Kennedy

Walmart has their own brand of everything bagel seasoning also!

  4. Amber

A lot of people on weight watchers make these, they also use the same recipe for pizza dough and biscuits!!!

  5. Debbie

Oh my!! These are fabulous. I also took some crushed walnuts and dried cranberries and roll them in it before I baked them. They were fabulous too. The everything seasoning for bagels were awesome too.

  6. Leyna

I love the new recipe! I used cinnamon and sugar and it was delicious

I make these a lot ( and also with cottage cheese instead of greek yogurt) and love them. I will say, I’ve made them with and without a little baking powder and I prefer with it (and a pinch of salt). They are less dense imo. Other flavors we love are mixing cheddar cheese, cinnamon, cranberries, and chocolate chips in the dough.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Glad to hear these have been a hit, sara! Thanks a bunch for sharing the different varieties and ingredients you’ve used! ❤️

  9. Gigi

They look so good! Why does the yogurt have to be zero fat?

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Gigi! You could use any greek yogurt, it doesn’t need to be zero fat. Hope this helps! 🤗

  10. Pat Goff

I don’t have an air fryer but I am going to try these in the oven. Yum.

    • Susan Summers

Would love for you to report back if you are successful, and share your oven technique. I want to try these too, but no air fryer.
