Tips for making this easy carnivore chips recipe:
- If you don’t roll the meat thin enough, they won’t turn out crispy! My first try at carnivore chips was actually a big fail. You want to roll these out so paper-thin that they are a little see-through. This will ensure a crispy chip.
- Season as desired. I used half a packet of spicy taco seasoning, but if you’d like more, then feel free. Switch up the seasoning to make it Italian, spicy buffalo, or smoky BBQ to customize this idea.
- Be careful not to burn them. Keep checking a few minutes before the cook time to make sure they don’t get too black. Every oven is a little different. Mine takes about 30 minutes to crisp nicely.
- Carnivore chips are meal prep-friendly. Make a batch, store in an airtight container, and snack smart all week.
