A unique snack or party treat, make these simple Crescent Wrapped Baby Cheeses topped with a pecan nutmeg maple syrup!
Ingredients
- 1 – 8oz. can refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet or Crescent Dinner Rolls
- 6-8 baby cheeses with wax coating removed
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup pecan halves
- dash of nutmeg
Directions
1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2
Unroll crescent dough sheet on a cutting board and cut into 2-3 inch squares.
3
Remove the red wax from the cheese and then wrap each cheese in a square of dough.
4
Make sure to pinch ends of dough together and place on a baking sheet with ends facing down. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12-15 minutes until rolls are cooked and golden brown.
5
Mix syrup with pecans and a little nutmeg if desired.
6
Dust with a little powdered sugar and serve syrup and nuts over the cheese rolls.

Recipe from Pillsbury.com
Notes: If you use 6-8 baby cheeses like the recipe states, you will have dough left over for rolls later as one crescent dough sheet gives you about 15 squares of dough. If you do not want to have leftover dough, buy more cheese OR cut small pieces of cheese off a larger chunk of Brie cheese.
We do crescent wrapped Brie and top it with Apple jalepeno jelly. It’s a hit! Can’t wait to try this one now!
Oh that sounds great too!
Oh this looks so good! Planning on trying it for New Years! Thanks Lina!
Great! Sure, enjoy!
What a cute idea. I think I’ll add some chopped, sautéed nuts and preserves on top to make mini Brie en croute.
Yum!!! Can’t wait to try this!!
Please tell me I wasn’t the only one to read the title of this post and immediately think of the Modern Family episode where Gloria tries to order “baby cheeses” but due to her accent, ends up with a box of “baby Jesus'” instead. I laughed both then and now! Oh and your recipe looks yummy too 🙂
Lol. I have not seen it, but read that in her voice! Thanks Jeanette
