Homemade Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
Like coffee AND pumpkin? ☕🎃😍
If you’re a pumpkin spice lover like me, you take every opportunity to enjoy this fall flavor whenever you can! One of my favorite ways to start a crisp autumn morning is to stir a little bit of this easy homemade Pumpkin Spice Creamer into my coffee. It’s such a simple recipe to make so I try to have some on hand all season long!
This healthier version uses almond milk as a base with pumpkin purée and maple syrup as a sweetener. The result is a smooth, flavorful creamer with a subtle sweetness, as opposed to a super sweet dessert taste. Feel free to adapt any of these amounts to your taste, and add sugar for more of a sweet treat!
A few pumpkin spice coffee creamer recipe tips:
- Not a fan of almond milk? Some readers tried using half & half for the base of this creamer and had fantastic results!
- You could also give coconut or cashew milk a try for some other non-dairy versions of this recipe.
- We’re in the thick of pumpkin-everything season, so I suggest stocking up on cans of pumpkin purée while you’re at the store so you don’t run out!

My sidekick, Jenna, recently made this recipe, and here’s what she had to say:
“This was so easy to make and I love the pumpkin spice flavor it gave my coffee! My daughter put some in her chai tea latte too, and it was so good! It thickened up quite a bit after it cooled and tasted great. This definitely wasn’t on the sweet side, but it has a really good flavor. The pumpkin spice really shines through!”
I hope you like this DIY pumpkin spice creamer as much as we do! It’s a fun little punch of pumpkin to add to your morning coffee. Enjoy!

Happen to know how much monkfruit sweeter to use if I wanted to make a keto friendly version?
It’s actually a very similar swap for granular, so maybe try just a 1:1 swap, and taste if more is needed after.
Trader Joe’s has a seasonal pumpkin spice liqueur you can use with creamer for a boozier version. Pretty tasty!
Oh nice! I like that idea. Thanks!
I swear you all can read my mind 😍
I had this with half and half and it’s great! If you like it smooth, pour it though a sieve to get the pumpkin pie spice bits out. It made it much more silky. Enjoy!
Oh nice idea!! Thanks so much Nickelle!
