What a great little snack when you’re craving a cracker or chip. You can also experiment with a larger size to be used as a tostada shell on taco night! Have you made these before? If so what type of cheese do you prefer?

We tried it the one time you showed it on periscope and love it!!!

  5. JA

My daughter loves you right now! She is a cheese-a-holic!

  6. Diana

Great idea!! I just made pizza with cauliflower and cheeese pizza crust yesterday. It tasted good but the crust was not crispy. My husband, who normally does not eat cauliflower, liked it and Ofcourse I did not tell him 🙂

    • Rose

Omg i would love to try it..my husband too dnt like eating cauliflower and the pizza crust using cauliflower sounds amazing to me will search for a recipe 🙂

    • jac

Have you seen the recipes that use cauliflower as a substitute for pasta (cauli-“mac” & cheese), rice (great w/ stir fry!), and of course, mashed potatoes? Lots of creative ways to use it. 🙂

  7. carrie

You can dry these over the lip of a bowl so they form a taco shell and use them for your next Mexican night!!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Love this idea! Thanks Carrie.

  8. Sara

You can do these in the microwave, too. I put a piece of parchment paper down on the carousel and just stand there and watch it until it is bubbly. Let it cool a little before you touch it.

    • Jasmijn Rose

Thanks so much! Im on a diet and was wondering if I could make these in the microwave! I’ll definitely try it!

  9. Tammy

I have done these with Parmesan and cheddar, they are equally yummy!!

Poor carbs get a bad wrap. I agree store bought carb loaded “food” is so bad. But you can eat as much homemade bread as you want. Lay off meat and eat more veggies! Lost 50lbs by simply changing 2 things!

    • Heather C.

      Thats great! Congrats!

    • Lindak

      Fantastic!

    • bessiek

absolutely true!!!meanwhile, even though i am utterly addicted to cheese, this is a yummy snack full of questionable animal fat… : ( (ok and some calcium). i will try it anyway… ; )

    • Mary

LOL, not if you have Diabetes! Only 45c per meal and they add up quickly . But obviously homemade bread is way healthier than store bought, but who would only be able to eat one thin slice at a time, and who can really do that with scrumptious homemade bread? But I’m learning to be satisfied with just a few small bites of high carb foods when the craving sets in. I’ve lost 50# by following a moderate carb diet, which is the Diabetic diet and my new way to eat for the rest of my life. Are you making a high fiber homemade bread? The fiber offsets the spike in blood sugar, but as I found out from the nutritionist, you can only subtract out the fiber from TC if the food has at least 5g of fiber in it, and then only half of the amount. But thank goodness there are foods with little to no carbs in them and you can eat all the non starchy veggies without counting the carbs in them!

  11. Heather C.

Ive seen this before, but forgot all about it. Thanks for the reminder… Excited to try them!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Enjoy Heather!

  12. Tami

I am going to make them right now and I cannot promise that I will share nicely!!! OMG these are going to be amazing!!!!!!!

  13. Mimi

You can use the cheese rounds as mini taco shells : just fold over and fill with meat and cheese= mini taquitos

  14. Jen

I am sure these are absolutely delicious! But not lo cal / fat / salt at all! 🙁

    • Jerry

Probably not as an addition to ones regular diet but they are awesome for those following Keto.

  15. Sharon

Anyone know how long these keep or if they need to be stored in the refrigerator? My boss now has to eat low carb and he loves crackers & summer sausage. That’s what I always get him for his birthday and I think these would be a good substitute. Thanks!

    • Sarah

They tend to get softer after about 3 days. My son was on modified Atkins for seizures and ate very low carb. These were great for something crunchy! They do make Parmesan store bought crackers that are low carb that last a little longer and are bigger. They were in the gourmet cracker and cheese section of Kroger, if that helps. My son ate them with the summer sausage a lot!

    • Lindy

You can buy a brand called Whisps, it’s only parmesan cheese. It stays crispy for a few weeks in the bag

  16. kasi

I am on a ketogenic diet and these are perfect. I use sargento cheese things. I get 6 crackers per slice. I use a silicone baking mat. I pair them with pepperoni chips.

  17. Julie

I eat low carb butter all the time 🙂

  18. Crafty Bargainista

I made a salmon recipe once where I topped the salmon with a dollop of pesto and a parmesan crisp. It was super yummy! I made the parmesan crisps on the stove instead of the oven

  19. Dolly

I also make these and i use asaigo or pecorino Romano!! Soooo great.I layer cooled crackers i n a green box layered w/ paper towels and they stay crisp and good for atleast 2 wks!! Try it!😄😆

  20. Richelle

These are great! I add a little jalapeño for a kick!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Excellent idea!

  21. APRIL

They do look good and easy too, MUST TRY!!!

  22. Larissa Lovejoy

Do they need to be kept in the refrigerator after you make them? I’m looking for snacks to bring on a camping trip where I won’t be able to refrigerate. Thanks!

  23. Mackkt14

I use mozzarella mixed with a sprinkle of garlic salt, chili powder, and paprika and then top with a few bacon bits. Bake for the full ten min with mozzarella

  24. Jenny

I tried making these, how do i keep them from sticking to the paper?

  25. Deana

Where do you store them so they don’t get soft? They are not as crisp as they were when I first baked . Very yummy,& easy to make!

  26. Jerry

Probably not as an addition to ones regular diet but they are awesome for those following Keto.

  27. Paula Nicoson

My sister made these as well as pepperoni slices come in handy for a a quick appatizers, great with a salad, or use these with sour cream and onion dip or with guacamole dip.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That sounds wonderful Paula! Great ideas 👍

  28. Erica pena

How many can you eat as a snack on Keto?

  29. Kim
