Make Gooey Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats Using Only 3 Ingredients!
Looking for a fun and simple dessert idea for the family?
Consider making some gooey marshmallow Lucky Charms treats that are similar to beloved Rice Krispies treats, but with a magically delicious twist! The best part is you can whip them up in under 10 minutes and all they require is 3 easy pantry ingredients!
Another plus side to this treat is that Lucky Charms is a gluten-free cereal in case there is an allergy.
The result is buttery marshmallow cereal squares that are perfectly beautiful and festive to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day holiday this year! The crunchy combo of the cereal and softer sweet marshmallows is honestly so darn GOOD in these.

Tips for making the best Lucky Charms cereal marshmallow treats:
-
- Lucky Charms not your favorite? No worries! Pick a cereal that appeals to your family more such as Cheerios or Fruity Pebbles to name a couple. You can also utilize all the bits and pieces from open boxes to create a fun batch of cereal marshmallow treats!
-
- As far as a pan goes, I used a 9×13 casserole dish and greased it well with butter first. I utilized maybe 3/4 of the pan length for a thicker bar, but that is up to you on the size to make them.
-
- It helps to coat your fingers or spatula with butter when pressing the ingredients into a pan to avoid everything sticking.

I’ll take these Lucky Charms treats as a low-effort easy mom win!
I mean, what can go wrong with marshmallows on marshmallows?! Ha! Even though my kids are now older, they still get excited for homemade occasional sweet treats like these.
This is a clever alternative to Rice Krispies treats and I hope your family enjoys them too.
Here’s what my teammate Jenna had to say about these Lucky Charms treats:
“These were so fun and easy to make! Only 3 ingredients needed, and it takes just minutes to throw together! This cereal is a classic! It sure makes for a fun treat for the kids! It’s like the St. Paddy’s Day version of Rice Krispie treats, SO GOOD!”
They even have the St. Patrick’s day lucky charms with green marshmallows
Love them-we made these with the green ones today! Thanks Lina!
Awesome Paula! Thanks for sharing. 😀
Looks awesome! The marshmallows glue all the pieces together so my 4 year old shouldn’t be able to pick out and eat just the “charms.”
This looks like a lot of fun!! Thank you
oh how fun! My bunch loves lucky charms
How long would these stay good?
We have made them with cheerios which are about the same as far as the cereal goes… The fresher the better in my opinion. They kind of soften and over time I can’t remember how long to took before they were just unappetizing maybe three days? It’s been a very long time since I made them so don’t quote me.
we make these with all kinds of cereal, golden grahams and mini chocolate chips are my favorite. I make fruity pebble and cocoa pebbled ones for my celiac girl
Cool. Looks yummy! I do this with all the odd bits of cereal the kids won’t finish or the cereals they won’t eat. LOL. I’ve also added those bits to a chocolate chip cookie recipe with some success. I don’t think cereal with marshmallows works in that because the marshmallows melt weirdly.
What size pan are the ones in the picture from? Thanks!
9×13 but I used a little over half, for thicker bars. Just personal preference. Thanks
I am room mom to my child’s 4th grade class and these will make an awesome and simple treat for St. Pats! Thanks!! They’re going to love these!
I can’t eat ( because of celiac) the pre-made lucky charms bars so I make my own. The cinnamon/vanilla lucky charms made the best treats.
Oh Yum! Thanks for sharing!
