Before I retired from teaching, I used this lunch crockpot nearly every day. It was great for soup or leftovers from dinner the night before. Although our faculty room had two microwaves, there was always a line of teachers waiting to heat up their lunches, so it was a real time saver. I can personally vouch for it making a great teacher gift!
I bought this the last time it was posted and I love it. Because I eat at my desk and work through my lunch, it can take me at least 45 minutes to finish munching through my food. My lunch is usually cold by the time I am halfway finishing it if I use the microwave to warm it up.
