Help Teachers Clear Their School Supply Lists – Join The Nationwide Movement!
What is “Clear the List”? It’s a nationwide movement to support teachers by purchasing items for their school supply lists.
School will be back in session soon (some districts start in just a couple of weeks!), and teachers are already working hard to prepare their classrooms for the new 2025-2026 school year. This includes stocking up on school supplies for their students!
Did you know that many teachers pay for the majority of classroom supplies out of their own pockets? Yes, it’s true! Classroom supplies are not cheap, and many school districts and families are struggling. This leaves many teachers to pay for school supplies out of their own pockets.
Teachers always go the extra mile for their students, so let’s show them how much we appreciate them by giving back and helping to fulfill their supply lists!
You can help by donating items from teachers’ Amazon shopping lists!
Teachers and educational professionals can head over to Amazon, create a classroom wish list, and then share their lists publicly. Anyone can ‘donate’ items that are on the list, and after donating, donors can even leave a note or message letting the teacher know how much they are appreciated. So awesome!
Even better, if you post your list on social media and tag Amazon with #clearthelist, you may find that your list is cleared BY Amazon! So cool!
Teachers, follow these steps to make your classroom wish list on Amazon:
- Head over to Amazon and hover over Account & List at the top. Select ‘Create a List’ from the drop-down menu and name your list.
- Hover over the three dots More menu on the right, and click Manage List to update your shipping address (this is important!) and other preferences like whether you want the list to be private or public. You can also designate whether your list is for an organization, and if so, you’ll have the option to provide the website address of the organization.
- Click ‘Save’ and then you can start adding items to your list!
- To add items to your wish list, simply browse for products on Amazon and then click ‘Add to List’ under the Buy box on the right-hand side of any item’s product detail page.
- Only list owners can make changes through Manage List. Both list owners and collaborators will be able to add and remove items.
If you’re a teacher, be sure to share your teacher list in the comments below so that readers can help clear the list! 🙌

3rd grade teacher at newer Christian school. It’s such a fulfilling career but I wish I could afford more. Personally working on my own finances and have a strict budget. I pray someone may help me as I steward my new student’s. That you may be a blessing as I’m also blessed to invest into them! Thank you!! And God bless you!!

Hey Friends,
I’m a third grade teacher in Georgia, and after a full summer of prepping, manifesting, and surviving on caffeine and vibes—I’m still staring at a classroom that needs serious help. 😩✏️
I made an Amazon wishlist to give my kids the space they deserve (and save me from going broke one pencil at a time). If you could share it or even just throw some teacher magic my way, I’d be forever grateful—and slightly less feral by August. 😅📚
XO,
Jaime

Hello everyone! Good afternoon ☀️! I hope everyone has a blessed day! It is that time of year where everyone is doing back to school shopping! 🛍️ I will be shopping for some work clothes this weekend during tax free weekend! It is also prime week and sales going on at other places. I will be entering in my 12th year of teaching. I can’t believe it has been long already. I am going into year 5 to teaching at Poplarville Headstart! I work with some of the best educators! The area is small and has a very low socioeconomic status demographic. Although we have supplies and resources to teach with. These are just a few of my wants for my classroom! So I am hopping on the trend and posting my list! Here is my list https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/8VOPVTZ6KKSZ?ref_=wl_share Let’s do this! Let’s make America’s 🇺🇸 educators feel loved and remember why they went into teaching! Especially those in the local state of Mississippi! Stay blessed and be safe! 🫶😊🩷

I am in my 23rd year of teaching, but I am forever finding new ways to engage my students, improve my instruction, and make my classroom the best place to learn. I have taught every grade K-5, but I am currently in my third year of teaching 3rd grade. If I could account for the amount of money I have spent in my classes over the years…well, I won’t even dwell on that. Any bit of help toward impacting my classroom and students is appreciated beyond measure!

Cada granito de arena significa mucho para mí y mis niños.
20 year High School English teacher. My school does not have a campus library so the weight has been on me to share the love of reading. I love adding high-interest and diverse books to my classroom library each year, but it adds up quickly. I am also the campus book club advisor and resident YA book nerd, so a lot more than just my 120+ roster of students borrow from me. my classroom is one of the only places to access high interest reads.
This year I am focusing on adding graphic novels, sports themes, and highly requested books from last years students.
You truly need to know what a gift it is to give a kid access to falling in love with reading and understanding the power of the written word, but also the amazing feeling when a teacher and her students have those super cool conversations about each. Thank you!

Hi,
My name is Chelsea Roth and I just moved schools in Kansas City, MO. I am a second grade teacher at Frontier Charter Schools. The last school that I was teaching at I had to leave a lot of my supplies their because the school gave each teacher money for supplies. I just found out that my school does not give teachers money to cover school supplies. I thank you for even taking the time to read over my list. Anything helps!
Much Love!
