There’s nothing worse than buyer’s remorse!

From new cars to clothes shipped right to your door – and even the exotic new fruit at the grocery store – try these six really cool things before you even buy them!

Not only are they fashionable and reasonably-priced, but they even donate a pair of glasses for every pair sold. How cool is that?!

2. Apply cosmetics right in the store.

3. Taste test new (and new-to-you) grocery items.

See a unique food in the produce section (or a new boxed product) that looks exciting?

Stores like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Lucky’s Market will typically let you try before you buy! Just ask a team member.

Hip Tip: Buy before you try (and hate it)? Stores like Whole Foods also have a legit 100% guaranteed return policy.

4. Drive a brand new Toyota.

      What does that taste like?

      • Stetson

It taste like cucumber with a really slimy consistency. I wasn’t a fan. Lol

Sprouts Market too… was eyeing a new kind of orange and wondering out loud to my husband what it tasted like. A nearby produce guy came over and pulled out a knife and cut one open and handed us slices. It was called CaraCara and was really good!

Those are truly the BEST oranges.

  4. Maria

This is so cool! Thank you, didn’t know about Amazon Wardrobe.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welcome, Maria! Hope you love it if you decide to give it a try!

I really like Third Love. The bra was so comfortable. Really the best bra ever. But… so expensive.

Communal makeup doesn’t sound worth it to me.

Great article, but just a caveat – please don’t try/swatch tester makeup directly on your eyes or lips. There are some real horror stories about people getting serious illnesses from tester makeup due to bacteria and infections spreading in such cases. 😨

I wish I would have tried the Kiwano melon before buying one, it’s so gross and not cheap for how small it is!

    • Jen

I actually like it! Taste buds vary from person to person…it’s unfortunate that you didn’t like it. It tastes like mixture of cucumber and a hint of kiwi to me.

Does anybody know which Aldi owns Trader Joes? I can’t remember if it is Aldi Sud or Aldi Nord. In case you don’t know what I am talking about Aldi was a family store in Germany. When the parents died the brothers split it in half (north and south) because they couldn’t work together. I know that one Aldi brother owns Aldi here in the states and one of them owns Trader Joes. I was just curious.

This is what I found –
“Aldi Nord owns Trader Joe’s in the States, but the Aldi stores that you see in the States are run by Aldi Süd, which is separate from Trader Joe’s.”

I’m pretty sure that I received a worn piece of clothing from Amazon Prime wardrobe. So they let you wear clothes and the return them? I mean I dont mind thrift stores….but I’m paying for new merchandise.
