Hobby Lobby is raising the pay for their full time employees.
In early 2022, Hobby Lobby underwent a minimum wage increase for full-time employees to $18.50/hour. The retailer currently operates 956 retail stores stocked with arts & craft supplies, home accents, seasonal products, and more. They have a long history of wage increases.
In 2009, Hobby Lobby was one of the first retailers to establish a national minimum wage increase significantly above the federal minimum wage, and it has been steadily raising its minimum wage ever since – twelve times in the past thirteen years.
In 2014, Hobby Lobby raised its full-time minimum hourly wage to $15, years before it finally caught on and became a trend with other retailers.
