Lowe’s Is Awarding 100 Neighborhood Improvement Grants – Nominate Your Hometown!
Thanks to the initial success of the Lowe’s 100 Hometowns program in 2021, they’re back with a $100 million 5-year commitment by launching Lowe’s Hometowns.
The Lowe’s 100 Hometowns initiative is back! 💛
We love to see retailers giving back to the communities they serve, and Lowe’s has just announced a huge funding project that is sure to have a big impact on hundreds of communities across the country!
The home improvement store has just revealed its plans for a new $100 million commitment to community impact projects nationwide. This five-year program is called Lowe’s Hometowns, and it will fund 1,800 community impact projects from 2022 through 2026. Around 100 of these projects will be chosen from customer nominations, with the rest coming from 1,700 Lowe’s locations.
To make Lowe’s Hometowns possible, the retailer is partnering with Points of Light, a disaster response nonprofit organization. They’ve also enlisted the help of designer, author, and Emmy-nominated host Bobby Berk.
As I travel across the country, I’ve seen how now, more than ever, communities need our help. Whether it is a safe space for kids to play after school or a training center to help job seekers get back on their feet, the projects we’re taking on with Lowe’s Hometowns will have real meaning for those in need. – Bobby Berk

Lowes is legit. I have elderly friends. When the husband had knee surgery, he needed a ramp. I contacted my local Lowes in Greensboro NC. Not an easy process, but I finally nailed them down. They donated lumber supplies.

I am a senior citizen on a very low income. I am trying to find out about a program I saw on HUD’s site saying that Lowe’s can get grants or assistance for roof replacement on a manufactured home. Any info out there? Thank You.
Hey there! I’m not finding any information on this online. You might try doing a quick search online for “HUD” and then your state to find the phone number to your nearest location and see if they might have more details on this for you. Hoping this helps! 💕
Would a playground at an elementary school be applicable?
Hey there! It seems their terms and conditions page isn’t working at the moment. Maybe check back through that link later. You could also try to go ahead and apply to see if it might be accepted. Hoping that is helpful! ❤️❤️
