*HOT* Target Red Card Offer | $50 Off $50 Purchase Coupon w/ New Debit or Credit Card!
Check out the benefits of a Target Red Card and why we think it’s a must-have for Target Shoppers!
Target shoppers, apply for a new Red Card and score a BIG discount! 🙌
The Target Red Card is one of our absolute favorite store credit cards because of all the cardholder perks and exclusive offers that come with it!
Being a Red Card holder means that you save 5% every day on Target purchases (no promo code required!). You also score FREE 2-day shipping on most items on Target.com, get extended time for returns, and more!
Plus, through August 19th, Target is offering a coupon for a whopping $50 off a purchase over $50 that will be included with your NEW Target RedCard (valid on the debit and credit card options)! The $50 off coupon will be mailed to approved cardholders with their Red Card and will be valid through 9/18/23.
In addition to the Credit and Debit Cards, Target is now offering a third option – the Target Red Card Reloadable Account. Note that the coupon does not apply to these cards, but it is still a nice option!
This card offers all the same benefits as the other Red Card options, but it doesn’t require a credit check or bank account! To get a Reloadable card, you just need to be 18+ years old, have a valid email address, and provide your Social Security Number to verify your identity.
The Target RedCard Reloadable Account is similar to Target’s Debit Card, but instead of linking to your checking account, your Target Red Card Reloadable Account can be preloaded with cash at Target.
Even sweeter, through August 19th, Target is offering a $50 credit on a purchase $50+ for new account holders that register their Target RedCard Reloadable card. *Note the statement credit will be posted to the account within 30 days of the $50 transaction, you must spend $50+ in one transaction at a Target store or Target.com, and you cannot get cash-back on the $50 transaction, as this voids the transaction from qualifying for the credit. Limit one $50 credit per customer.
You can also get your paycheck or government benefits up to two days early when you set up direct deposit on your Reloadable Account. This service is totally free for cardholders! In fact, there aren’t many fees associated with the Red Card Reloadable Account at all as there is no annual fee, and reloading your card is free too!
If you want to use the “Money In Minutes” feature of the Mobile Check Capture service to reload your account, that will incur a fee. To avoid this fee, you can choose the “Money in Days” option instead.
To avoid ATM fees, Reloadable Red Card holders can use the in-network Allpoint ATMs at Target for any withdrawals. Be sure to review this list of all the Red Card Reloadable fees before using your card!
What’s the best part about having a Target Red Card?
Target’s 5% off Red Card discount will also stack with the already discounted sale or clearance items and Target Circle offers, so you can scoop up all the Target deals your heart desires at the very best prices!
Why wouldn’t you want to save a little extra on the items you’re already buying? 🤷♀️ And because now you can opt for the Credit, Debit, or Reloadable Card version and still get all the SAME perks, a Target Red Card is really a no-brainer!
Applying for a Target Red Card Credit or Debit Card is really easy, too!
You can apply conveniently and quickly online – the entire application process should take less than 15 minutes!
If you’re not interested in another credit card, consider applying for the Red Card Debit Card instead. There’s no credit check needed, and it’s totally free. The Red Card Debit Card gets linked with your existing checking account. Plus, you can also withdraw up to $40 cash at checkout in-store.
Regardless of which type of card you choose, you don’t have to worry about paying any sort of annual fee! 🙌
Here are all of our favorite perks (some restrictions apply):
- Save an extra 5% every day on Target purchases when you pay with your Red Card – in-store AND online!
- Store your Red Card info in the Target app for a faster checkout experience!
- FREE 2-day shipping on most items on Target.com – no minimum purchase!
- Early access to special events, products & promotions – just for Red Cardholders!
- Extended returns – additional 30 days, excludes Optical and non-returnable items!
- Exclusive extras, including special items & offers!
- Save 5% off specialty gift cards for travel, restaurants, movie tickets, and more!
- Save 5% when you use your Red Card at any in-store Starbucks location!
Not sure if I missed this information above, but the Reloadable Card does come with $50 but it is a credit not a coupon.
Get a $50 credit when you open a RedCard Reloadable Account & spend $50 at Target.
To receive a $50 statement credit for the RedCard Reloadable Account, you must successfully register online at redcardreloadable.com for a new account between 8/6/2023 – 8/19/2023, then activate the permanent card once received in the mail and spend $50 (net of reversals/returns) at Target (“$50 transaction”) within 45 days of registration. The statement credit will be posted to the account within 30 days of the $50 transaction. The $50 transaction must occur in one transaction at a Target location or at target.com; if you get cash back at the register during your purchase, the transaction will not qualify for this promotion. Limit one (1) $50 credit per customer. Offer does not apply to RedCard Credit or Debit products and is subject to change or cancellation at any time.
If I got a RedCard Debit card a few years ago and got a credit, can I apply for the credit card and get the $50 for that too?
Good question, Eva! I’m not finding any information on that in the details. You might try reaching out to customer service to check before you apply! 🤗❤️ Target Credit Card & Target Mastercard (U.S.): 1-800-424-6888

Does anyone know if coupons be used during this transaction since they don’t count as “cash back” at the register?
