Keep your phone budget under control with the Verizon Visible Wireless phone plan!

Looking to save hundreds per year? It might be time to switch to a cheaper cell phone provider without worrying about spotty coverage or slower speeds! Sound too good to be true? Enter, Visible Wireless! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 (Psst! They run on Verizon’s 5G networks, so we think it’s pretty safe to assume that they have some of the farthest-reaching coverage in the phone company biz).

SO, if you rely on a great cell phone connection for work, travel, or just keeping up with the family, there couldn’t be a better time to make the switch!

Even sweeter, you can score all the best perks with a Verizon Visible wireless phone plan for as low as $30/month!

AND, through August 31st, you can score up to a $200 virtual gift card when you buy select devices through Visible!

To earn your free gift card, select your new device – choose from the latest iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and more! Then, transfer your number from an eligible carrier within 30 days, set up your Visible SIM, and activate it. Then, after making payments for 3 months, you’ll automatically receive an email with a code to redeem your virtual gift card.

Best of all, you can choose which eGift Card you’d like – from choices like Amazon, Best Buy, The Children’s Place, Lowe’s, Sephora, Target, Home Depot, and more!

people using smartphones

With Visible, you get unlimited data, calls, & texts (including to Mexico and Canada), and no limit to hotspot usage for just $30/month. That last perk is especially useful for those of us who rely on our tech for work. SWEET! Plus, there’s no annual contract.

And, if you’re looking to get a few more perks out of your phone plan, their Visible+ option is still lower than most other carriers! 😱 For just $45/ month you can enjoy International calling and texting, 5G Ultra Wideband, and premium network surfing.

What sets Visible Wireless apart, aside from being significantly cheaper than many of their competitors, is that they’re entirely digital.

This means no brick-and-mortar stores–all business is conducted strictly online.

If you’re not a fan of having to go into stores and don’t mind dealing with customer service, bill pay, etc. all online, this is simply another convenient perk! However, if you like face-to-face help, you won’t be finding it with a Visible plan. That definitely doesn’t have to be a deal-breaker, but it is something to consider when picking out a new carrier.

Hip Readers have loved Visible service!

We decided to try Visible when our son got his first phone. We haven’t had any issues with the service so far and haven’t noticed any differences when we compare wifi strength while in various locations. It cost $5 for the first month and we did not buy a phone from them so no obligations going forward. We figured it was worth giving them a try and so far it’s been great.

Yay! I love Visible since switching to it last year. Love that its super affordable and has good network. You won’t be disappointed.

This is what my family and I have. We love it and we all pay 25.00!!

I have Visible service. Been about a year. So far so good. Unlimited everything including hotspot.

I have visible, have no issues and the price is even better.

What is the data limit capped at?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! I don’t find a data limit listed. Here are the details I found – “Never worry about overages or hidden fees with all the minutes, messages and megabytes you need. Includes unlimited calls & texting from the US to Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam and Saipan. On the Visible plan, when the 5G Nationwide or 4G LTE network is experiencing heavy traffic, your data may be temporarily slowed.”

      Hoping this is helpful! 💖

    • bradjim

I think I saw 50 GB but I’m not 100% sure with the way they word everything

    • bradjim

From their website. Not sure what to make of it. ……….Premium Network Experience Get 50GB of premium data every month on 5G Nationwide & 4G LTE. After 50GB, when the network is experiencing heavy traffic, your smartphone and hotspot data may be temporarily slowed. 5G Ultra Wideband data is always unlimited premium data.

    • Carol

I have Mint mobile and their unlimited plan caps data at 35 gb…while i like mints prices i dont like that data cap and Visable has NO data cap….will be switching in November

    • jill

I had this for 3 years i really loved it. But no there is no data cap it’s truly unlimited. I just recently changed because where I live it started working horribly

I was switching to Visible in December when we added a 4th phone to our plan and now that it has gone up to $30 I’m wondering if visible or Verizon is a better deal and the difference. If you have 4 lines on Verizon’s welcome unlimited it is also $30 a month. I just can’t find what the difference is. I know Verizon is going to do something to rip me off like the past 10 years I’ve been with them😂
If you have any experience with this I would appreciate your input:) thanks!

    • jeangirl

One thing that is not included in our Verizon unlimited plan is the Hotspot. That is$10 more per month and does have a data limit. Hope that helps:)

    • Lisa

Taryn, we had been loyal and really appreciated Verizon’s coverage areas (20 plus years’ worth). With their declining service (I mean, for real, it was evident) and their continuing price increases, it just got insane. I hated to do it but we switched to TMobile. We do find that coverage is not as good as Verizon, but for the price, we’re comfortable with it (plus TMobile has more perks, so we’ll put up with the minor inconvenience).

Visible doesn’t have cloud storage so I’m wondering how people who have Visible handle that or who they use? Would it still back up to an ICloud b/c that’s apple and not Verizon specific? Thanks

    • roxy

The cloud is connected to your phone brand and has nothing to do with the service. I switched to Visible and I am still using the same Apple cloud I had before.

  4. Rose

We love Visible! We were with cricket til we moved to NC and had horrible service. We found visible and haven’t looked back since. With 6 kids, $25 per line, we can definitely afford that! especially unlimited. But i didn’t realize it’s unlimited hotspot as well. Cool!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! SO glad you’ve been loving this service, Rose! Thanks for taking a moment to comment! We sure appreciate the feedback! 🥰

One bit of warning: my hub is in IT and says Visible doesn’t have a working email-to-sms gateway, so his employer can’t send them automated text alerts about problems to employees who use it. Even if your work doesn’t use an email-to-text alerts system, your local government might — perhaps for alerts about wild fires, hurricanes, etc.

  6. Sarah

My family has been very happy with Visible. One thing worth mentioning is that the $30 includes all taxes and fees. Something to keep in mind when shopping around.

  7. Dre

I changed to Visible a few months ago and have had zero issues. I am on a party plan which costs $25 a month. I recommend this service.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Awesome! Thanks so much for the recommendation, Dre!

Love Visible service. I’m in party pay and it’s $25 a month with 4 or more people. Plus their are 2 new plans to consider as listed in the post. You can get $20 off your first month with my code if interested in trying the service. hip2trade @ gmail

I’ve had Visible for a few months now and have signed up my in-laws for their service and have overall been happy with their service. I wasn’t sure about not being able to contact them via phone, but they have been very responsive and helpful via chat, so that is not much of a concern. If anyone is interested, feel free to use my code (3DCLRV8) for $20 off your first month and join party pay (group VISIBLEROCKS is large group) for $25/mo thereafter. Note Party Pay signup is going away Oct 18. Also, sign up using cashback site that starts with an R and ends with ten to get $15 cash back.

I recently switched to visible but immediately switched back to my old carrier. I had nothing but issues with visible.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SO sorry to hear about that, Michelle. ❤️ Thanks for the honest comment.

  12. Hayley

We tried visible about a year ago and it was HORRRRRIBLE. We couldn’t get data to load fast enough for our GPS to work and couldn’t look up things in stores unless we logged onto the store’s wifi. I’m not sure if its gotten better over the last year, but we switched back to verizon.

    • hip2trade

Visible has upgraded and expanded their network. The plans are $30 and $45. If you sign up through PayPal with either plan you get $5 off your monthly bill.

    • Lisa

Ohhh, thank you, Hayley, for the suggestion of tapping into a store’s wifi. As I stated above, we switched from Verizon (because of their crazy increasing prices) to TMobile. While we have a few glitches, there are a few stores I have had issues with connecting and you might have solved it. Thx.

    • jill

Same was happening to me and I live in north FL but my sister has it and lives in Central FL and has no problems with it. So i think it just depends where u live.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry this didn’t work well for you, Hayley. ❤️Thanks a bunch for the honest review.

  13. Andrea

I signed up for Visible after seeing this post. I thought it would be quite beneficial as far as saving money and getting the same package that I currently have with T-Mobile. It was going to be a monthly savings of $40 so why not. This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a carrier. I signed up online and it asked for a PIN so I could transfer my number. I contacted T-Mobile and they gave me a transfer PIN number. I entered that into my account and it would not accept it. So, I started a chat to get this resolved. The first person had no clue what they were doing and couldn’t help. I started another chat. The next person thought they knew what they were doing and it still was not working. The App then threw me out and the chat was gone. To make a long story short I started 5 different chats and was thrown out 5 different times. Between the terrible customer service and being constantly thrown out of the App I was done. This is not worth it. At the very least they should have someone that you can call and talk to. If their customer service is this bad I can’t imagine what the phone service is like. I’m now praying that there is not a problem with my number being ported out after I canceled my account. I just read a review where that happened and it was a nightmare to fix.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! That does sound frustrating. Thanks for taking a moment to share with us, Andrea. ❤️❤️

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hello again, Andrea! Do you have an email address we could pass along to customer service for you? They’d like to reach out to you on this. Thanks again! ❤️🤗

  14. Steph

So far, nothing but a terrible experience! Though my service is with Tmobile, they keep trying to port my number from Verizon. And there are no agents available to chat even though their site says they are available 24/7. And the way cell phone companies work, if you don’t get everything changed over before your next cycle starts, you have to pay for a whole other month of service. TERRIBLE…DO NOT RECOMMEND even if just because you can not get help!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry for the trouble, Steph. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Do you have an email address we could pass along to customer service for you? Thanks! 💕
