**Here’s What Our Team Has Done Behind The Scenes in December – Holiday Edition!
Here’s what our Hip2Save team members have been up to when we’re off the clock…
We’re back with more exciting behind-the-scenes at Hip to wrap up the year! 🤩
We’re continuing our super fun off-the-clock Hip series and giving you all a sneak peek into our lives behind the scenes every month!
Whether it’s something we’re buying, something we did, or how our lives are ever-changing, we’re bringing you along for the journey with us!
More than anything, we all enjoyed time with our families on Christmas.
If you didn’t know, Christmas Day is the one and only day our entire Hip2Save team takes a day off to unplug and spend time with our families – including our Hip boss, Collin! This matching Christmas jammie family photo from this year sure does bring a smile to all our faces and it’s so heartwarming to know Collin enjoyed such special memories with all her kiddos. 🥰
Like their matching jammies?! Cheap Walmart pajamas for the win!
We sure hope all you Hipsters were able to enjoy time with your family this Christmas too! 🎄
Melinda and her family started new holiday traditions in memory of her mom.
For Melinda and her family, Christmas this year was about building new family traditions since they lost their mom to COVID earlier this year.
Overcoming their first Christmas without her couldn’t have been more meaningful when her sister surprised her with a stunning engraved cutting board featuring her mom’s handwritten recipe that their family loves too much. To top it off, each of the kiddos received their own pillow or teddy bear made from pieces of their grandma’s clothing. So beautiful. 😭
Our hearts go out to all of you who were celebrating Christmas without a loved one this year. 💔
Our team did some secret Santa gift exchanges too.
We didn’t just exchange gifts with family this year. In fact, every year, our team hosts a behind-the-scenes secret Santa gift exchange – it’s a super fun way to get to know our team a little more and interact since we all work remotely.
While I think everyone loved their gifts, Shane’s tortilla blanket (which he LOVES) gave us all a laugh. 😆 It’s a great thing we all create wishlists because I would have never thought of this one. 😂
Gary took the opportunity to update his social media photos.
Oh, how we love getting Gary updates! Luckily, it seems as though he gave Angela a little bit of a break from wrecking things around the house and instead took the opportunity to snap some updated headshots over the holiday.
While his LinkedIn photo is pretty handsome and professional, we’re loving his new Tinder picture even more. 🤣 He’s all fun and just a little bit of business.
Stacy and her kiddos were busier than ever this month.
What I really should be saying is what didn’t Stacy and her family do over the holidays?! They were busy attending the Millennial Choir & Orchestra where her kiddos performed and they were even in a drive-thru live nativity!
Aside from seeing her family totally rock it this holiday season, she also enjoyed a carriage ride through Deerfield in Plano, a local neighborhood full of lights, and she even participated in a new holiday initiative she discovered to help widows during a difficult time of the year. ❤️
Nicole packed up the kiddos for a drive-thru lights show.
One holiday tradition Nicole and her family were sure to check off the list was driving to see some festive lights. Not only did they enjoy the show from the warmth of their own car, but they even packed a thermos of hot chocolate for all the kids to enjoy and make it even more special.
Lina and her family helped out at their local food pantry.
It’s the season for giving, and for Lina and her family that means donating some of their time. They spent the day before Christmas Eve volunteering to hand out food to over 100 families at their local food pantry. How awesome!
Kaitlyn and her family participated in operation Santa.
Kaitlyn and her family took on the role of Santa and participated in Operation Santa with USPS this year. While they didn’t grab a picture of their donations, they let us know what a great time they did have and how good it felt to make a difference.
Stetson turned 30!
In case you missed it on Instagram, our one and only Stetson hit the thirty mark this month! 🥳 While we’re not too sure what shenanigans he was up to on his day off, we do know he was likely to bring a smile to many people’s faces and spread his joy like he does every other day.
If you haven’t wished him a very happy birthday yet, make sure to drop a birthday wish in the comments so we can share it with him. 😊
Stetson also received a special gift at Target.
We’re not the only fans of Stetson! His local Target recently rewarded him by gifting him a rare Target Bullseye stuffed animal for a job well done. He was recognized for fixing up their store and straightening up end caps, as even they notice the work he regularly puts in for his job at Hip. How cool!
Maybe he’ll be next for an exclusive line with Target. 😂🙏🏻
Shane and Stetson are gearing up for 2022 in their own way.
While I’m really unsure what exactly is happening here, it’s no secret Shane is always up to something unique and cool. More recently, his friend made a poster of him for Christmas. With an anticipated launch date of September 2022 for his new movie, it has already given Stetson something exciting to look forward to. 🤣
Well, Hip2Savers, on that note, we’re going to get back to bringing you all the best holiday deals!
I’ll be back in the New Year with fresh new, Hip news!
