Ibotta’s Thanksgiving Bonus Offer Looks a Little Different This Year
Here’s what we know about this year’s Ibotta free Thanksgiving offer:
The Ibotta Thanksgiving bonus offers are back this year – but it’s not nearly as exciting as last year’s bonus… 😢
Last year, we saw 100% cash back on select essentials, but this year they’re not making it that simple. However, there are still ways for you to earn some cash back!
This time around you actually get to choose the offer that you want! There are four tiers of cash back offers and you can choose which one is right for you. These offers will vary by account, but here’s what we’ve seen:
- $20 cash back for redeeming 25 offers
- $25 cash back for redeeming 48 offers
- $30 cash back for redeeming 57 offers
- $40 cash back for redeeming 75 offers
We’re not completely sure yet which offers will qualify for the bonus cash back, but hopefully we’ll get more details when the bonus is live!
Here’s what to do:
- Activate your bonus offer before November 1st
- Choose your favorite cash back offer
- Check your app on November 1st at 9am MT
- Start shopping to redeem all offers to earn your bonus cash back offer before Thanksgiving
Hip Tip: You may need to click around for a bit or go straight to the “Bonus” tab for it to pop up. When you get the pop-up, select your tier level before leaving the page, otherwise, you may not get it back!

Mine was $20 for 50 offers. It’s nice for some people that got lucky but that’s ridiculous – the big differences in what people are getting.
I still can’t even find this. I tried the tips and looked all over the place. Maybe because I had it offloaded because I haven’t used it in quite a while? I used to love this promotion and while the cash back is still great it’s just not the same.

I selected the $20 for 25 offer. I doubt I will have that many, unless Ibotta gets a lot of good offers for this promotion.

Just looked and I didn’t get anything. (I did try logging out and logging back in too) Looked on the app and the desktop version, too. 🙁 I’ll look again in a day or two-fingers crossed that it pops up later!
