I bought this ice maker a couple of years back and I can say it’s earned countertop space. I usually reserve iced drinks for warm and hot weather, but with ice made just a few minutes apart, I’ve come to enjoy iced beverages in the fall and winter, too. And because it’s such a fantastic product, I leave it on the counter all year long. So far, I’ve had no issues with it; it performs well.
Today, it’s 89 degrees and very muggy and is proving to be quite indispensable. Added to that, I’m able to make slushies and snowcones for the kiddos and margaritas and daiquiris for the adults. Ice is made about every 5-6 minutes or so and before you know it, you’ll have gallon-sized freezer bags or a large lock-n-lock filled with ice.
And since gas is now $100/gal, no more running to the store for ice; save that time and gas doing something fun, like chilling on the patio with your favorite iced beverage!
