Jansport offers an amazing warranty on their products! If you have any issues you send them the backpack and they either send you a brand-new one or fix it. I had a well-loved, many years old backpack and the water bottle pocket ripped. I mailed it to them (which cost about $10 for shipping) and they mailed me a brand-new backpack.
The new one is the same style (larger student backpack with laptop pocket) and it has held up perfectly since I got it from them 4 or 5 years ago. I also love that they can be so easily washed in the washing machine. I just toss it in with a regular load of laundry and hang it up to dry and it comes out great every time! – Hip reader, Beth
*Note that Jansport recently updated their warranty policy that if an item cannot be repaired, they will either return it to you or issue a gift card to replace the backpack with a new option on their site.

Shipping is free on orders of $49+, otherwise, shipping starts at $8.95. OR opt for free in-store pickup if available at a store near you.
Jansport warranty is terrible. I paid $16 to ship it to them and they said it was “normal wear and tear” for the holes in the bottom of the backpack and returned it. When I received it back, it was sticky and filthy. Now I can’t even fix it myself and I’m out $16. I’ll never buy Jansport again. Buyer beware!
