What is Walmart Plus?

Walmart+ is a paid membership that can help you to save money throughout the year. The membership aims to help you save on delivery, shipping, gas, and even video streaming. Walmart estimates a membership can save you up to $1,300 a year. In addition to savings, members can also earn Walmart Rewards.

How much is Walmart Plus?

Shoppers can get a Walmart+ membership on either a monthly or an annual basis. The monthly membership is $12.95 a month, and the annual membership is $98 per year which equates to roughly $8.17 a month.

Keep in mind that you’ll still be able to choose Walmart’s free curbside pickup, NextDay delivery, and two-day delivery. If you tend to get two orders per week from Walmart, the company estimates you can save over $800 a year from this FREE delivery benefit.

“Love Walmart Plus and Scan & Go. As a deal shopper, this is HANDS DOWN the way to look for in-store clearance. Seriously life changing! “I get groceries delivered once or twice a week, so my membership has paid for itself many times over. In fact, my Walmart Plus account tracks how much time and money my membership is saving me, and I’ve saved $447 in grocery delivery fees and fuel discounts in about 8 months! Best of all, I haven’t had to go inside a Walmart since March, which has saved me an estimated 45 hours of time! I will DEFINITELY be renewing this membership when it expires!” 🙌 – Jenna, Hip2Save team

Hi Wendy! Sorry for any issues. I still see the offer valid and listed as I click through the link above. Maybe try once more in a different browser or switch over to desktop view if using a mobile device. Hoping that does the trick! 🤞💞

    • A

Can u sign up but not activate it until a later time? I currently have one but doesn’t expire for a few months.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question. This offer is only good for new members, unless you are paying monthly and then you might be able to grab the deal if upgrading to yearly. I don’t find a way to purchase now and activate later. We’ll keep a lookout for more offers as they become available! ❤️👀

  2. JeannieNY

With the grocery delivery service..is tipping the person expected?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! You can tip if you’d like. I did find this in their FAQ – “You can tip your delivery driver through the app.” Hope that is helpful! 🤗

      • Stacy

I ended up canceling my servicr because after the driver unloaded all of my groceries and hauled them to my door, I felt like I had to give a good tip. Decided it was worth it to just set up Walmart pickup when I was out and about.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for letting us know what you thought of it, Stacy! I do Walmart Grocery Pickup often! 💖

    • Becky

You absolutely should be tipping the delivery person. I do 10%

      • sheilds1980

Yep 15% here I had Walmart plus since 2021 and I love it . It’s been awesome especially there delivering.

      • Diane

Why are they allowed to accept a tip but a cashier isn’t allowed to take one?

        • Val

The people who deliver my groceries are DoorDash drivers. They don’t work for Walmart.

    • Tammy

Yes, please tip the drivers they make very little on deliveries!

    • Gerle

      absolutely

  3. Debby

I live in a rural area. If I have the plus membership, would I have non perishable food items mailed for free?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Debby! It appears so. You could always check with customer service to be sure.

    • rcb37404

Debby, I have the Walmart+ membership & yes, there are non perishables that will ship to your address for free & I’ve done that. The super easy way to tell is look up the item on the WM site, underneath it will show “pickup, delivery, shipping” or all three. That tells you which method of delivery is available to your address. Be sute to put in your zip code. And yes, there is no shipping minimum. HTH

      • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for sharing this helpful tip! We sure appreciate it! ❤️

  4. Sue

If I take the membership, do I still need to have $35 grocery to do curbside pickup?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Sue! I was only seeing the $35 order minimum on delivery orders with Walmart+, so I checked with customer service on this for you. They said – “there is no minimum limit to do a curb side pick up and there is no fee for it you just have to place a pick up order and pick it up from the store.” Hope this is helpful! 🤗❤️

      • Sue

Thanks for checking with Walmart. That was very helpful.

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

          You’re welcome! 🤗❤️

      • jill

I don’t find this to be the case for our Walmart….. anytime I have tried doing a pickup curbside, it always tacks on the $ 6.99 for under $ 35.00. Now, there are some items that let you pick up for free, but if I had a normal $20 food shop to pick up, it puts in the under $ 35 fee…. so I have to get it up to $35. ( even with Walmart+ )

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! I wonder if customer service might be able to look into that for you. Thanks for the feedback on what you’re seeing for your pick up orders. 💖

        • Jessica Taylor

Mine always does the same even with a membership, I have to have a $35 min order for pickup.

    • Mimi

I’m battling this for months now. If it’s something non-perishable, I don’t have a curb side pick up fee for orders under $35. As soon as I add something perishable, $6.99 fee pops up!
Previously, I was told that it is a system problem that Walmart is aware of. A week ago or so I contact them again because of the exact same issue, I was told (for the first time) that even though I’m a Walmart plus member, I still have a $6.99 fee for ANY curbside pick up order under $35.
Total nonsense, as I am able to do a curbside order for a $1 item without a fee as long as it’s not perishable. Tried it out during the chat with customer service and a couple times after. 🙄

  5. Sara

If I have Walmart +, can I order photo gifts without paying shipping? Like a single photo shipped to my house without paying shipping for example (a bad example, but you get the idea… just photos under $35). Thanks!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Sara! We tested this with a photo ornament, priced around $10, and it’s charging $4 for delivery, so not free. Hoping this helps! 💕

  6. orie4reel

    Hi everyone @ Hip2Save,
Question, for the Walmart+ grocery app, or scan & pay (I think it’s called?) do I need to pay with a Walmart CC, or can I pay with a regular CC?
    TY in advance. 🤗

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! With Scan & Go, you can use any credit or debit card that you have saved in your Walmart account. Hope this helps! 💕

  7. Wendy Jenkins

How do you know which items will ship and which will be delivered? I don’t want to sign up and then find out everything I’m interested in would be delivered and still need to meet a $35 minimum.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Wendy! Each product page should list the options for each particular item to be delivered. It will vary based on what’s being ordered and where you live. You might pick a few things you typically buy or are most interested in, and while logged into your regular Walmart account, check the delivery options on those pages to have a good idea of what will work in your area.

Liza, a Hip sidekick, shared with me – “We don’t have Walmart delivery (like same-day) here, but everything I order ships to my house in 2-3 days for free. For things that can’t be shipped, I do curbside pickup. There is a $35 minimum threshold for that, but not for shipping.”

      Hope this is helpful! 🤞❤️

    • LH

Hi Wendy! Just FYI… recently I noticed that almost none of the items that I used to ship are available to ship to me anymore… it’s either delivery $35 mininum or nothing…been that way for a while now…so even if you can ship some items, it may change so that you can no longer ship those things. I’ve been shipping some items for 1 year+ now I can not ship them any longer… just FYI

  8. Heather

Can you have grocery delivery sent to different addresses? Like for example can I order my groceries, send groceries to my elderly mother at a different address, have groceries delivered while on vacation, etc.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Heather! I just tested this and was able to change the address during checkout for the grocery delivery order. Something to keep in mind though is that not all locations offer the same-day delivery, so you could always test this by adding some items to your cart in your regular Walmart account and changing up the delivery address to see if it’s available for that location. Hoping this helps! 💕

    • Andrea

I order groceries and have them delivered to my daughter’s college house, all the time. No issues at all. This is much safer than her going shopping herself.

      • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing how it works for you, Andrea! Sure appreciate it! Love that you’re able to do that for your daughter! ❤️

    • Ketsy

Yes. I use this to send my daughter Valentines, birthday and such. She has a Walmart near and they will deliver fresh items and flowers if available 🙂 I’m in Florida and she is in Virginia. You put her address and name as a shipping /delivery option and when you choose it it changes the page to items available at their Walmart nearby.

  9. Gina Gentry

I’ve been a plus member for over a year & I love it, especially not having to purchase a minimum amount for free shipping. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much the only feature I can use since the closest Walmart to me is about 20 minutes away, we’ll never qualify for delivery, door dash, etc. I wish they would offer a reduced membership fee for people who either can’t/don’t want delivery etc!

    • lorih

I’m with you, Gina! I also live about 20 minutes away from Walmart. I decided to join anyway, hoping the other perks will make it worthwhile. Doesn’t seem fair that we pay the same price but can’t receive all the benefits.

  10. Tina

Hello. How does the scan and go work inside the store? If I have a cart full of items am I scanning them as I add them to my cart? How will bagging the items work? Do I just walk out the door?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Tina!🤗 Great question! It looks like you could bag your items at self checkout. I did find these details on how that works –
“Scan each item’s barcode & place it in your cart. You’ll need to weigh items sold by the pound at self-checkout. A Walmart associate will need to verify your ID for items with age restrictions, such as alcohol.

Check out digitally – When you’re finished shopping, head to a self-checkout register, scan your QR code to finalize payment, receive an exit pass & e-receipt, & be on your way.
As you leave, a Walmart associate may scan your exit pass.

All of the steps including a video on how it works are here. Happy shopping!🥰

      • Tina

Thank you so much for this information! I appreciate it very much!

    • Pretygirlygirl

You still have to go to a check out or self check out and scan the barcode that’s on your phone. Then an associate comes and approves it. Honestly it took longer than just using self check out. I thought I was going to scan and go 🤣 Assumed the person at the door would “approve” me to leave.

  11. Heather

    Oh I found it 🙂

  12. Nanners

Can I use this membership to have groceries delivered to a different address in addition to mine? If the $35 min is reached would I be able to have them delivered to my parents house or my son’s? I’m thinking, if the flu hits the whole house and they need supplies, this would be so much easier than me driving the 2 hour round trip since I wouldn’t be able to stay and visit.

  13. LeeF

So to be clear- it is only free NO minimum for non perishable items? If I order groceries, it’s still free delivery but I have to meet the $35 min? Just wanted to get clarification- I have two Walmarts within a few miles of me. Also- does this feature work best if you set it up through the app or website?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey LeeF! With Walmart+, you get free shipping with no order minimum (excludes freight, oversized and Marketplace items). If same-day delivery from your store is available near you, you do have to meet a $35 order minimum, otherwise there is a “Below order minimum” fee (mine was $6.99 when I tested this out). I personally don’t have a preference between the app or the website when using the membership. Hoping this is helpful! 💕

      • LeeF

        What are “marketplace items “?

  14. Neymorra

Has anyone done this who also uses Paramount+? We were wondering if we can pay the little difference for commercial free, since it looks like it only provides the basic ad-supported plan. Is it possible to upgrade to the ad free plan and just pay the monthly difference?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! I did find this in Walmart’s terms and conditions – “The included benefit is limited to the Paramount+ Essential Plan (ad-supported), only and does not include Paramount+ Essential Plan with Showtime.” Hope this helps! ❤️

  15. Dudleymom

I have absolutely loved my Walmart+ subscription for over a year! It’s worth every penny. I was picking up groceries weekly so having them delivered has truly spoiled me and I figure the gas and time I save pays for the subscription 😆. Keep in mind you do tip on home delivery. I recently added the in-home free trial but choose door step delivery instead of having them come in my home and for this service you’re not supposed to tip. I add my groceries to the app throughout the week then order on Fridays! I don’t know if I could ever go back to shopping in store 😆

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for taking the time to share about your Walmart+ experience! Glad to hear how much of a time-saver this service has been for you! 🙌💗

  16. Sue

Can someone answer if there are any added fees at all with a membership? Grocery delivery $35 minimum I understand is free, but like with Instacart are there “other“ fees, other than taxes? If the prices are the same as in store I’m wondering if there’s a convenience surcharge or gas fee.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Sue! I’m not seeing any additional fees associated with the membership, but you might check out
their FAQ page here, or contact customer service to be sure of the membership cost and benefits before snagging this deal. Hoping this is helpful! ❤️

      • Sue

        Thank you Jessica

    • Pretygirlygirl

No extra fees. Everything is priced the same as in store.

  17. Elaine S

One thing I have learned from my few weeks with walmart + is that free shipping with no minimum is not always coming up, even those sold and shipped from walmart.com. When I contacted customer service, they said place the order, after it arrives, contact customer service again and they will remove the shipping fee. Both times, it charged me $6.99 or $7.99 (for being under $35 minimum) and they have refunded me. Takes the extra step, but hey have honored what they said. It’s supposedly a glitch that is not catching all the items that should qualify as free shipping with w+. Hope that helps anyone else that has been on the fence about that.

  18. Melissa

Does anyone know if I can still use Ibotta for items I purchase through Walmart to have delivered? How does it work if I can use it?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! That will work for some items. You can find the details on that here. 🥰

      • Melissa

Thank you. I was able to link it to my account. Now that I know I can still use Ibotta to save on items purchased through Walmart+ Online, I’m going to try the offer and see how I like it. 😊

  19. Diane Palmer

Can you get your prescriptions delivered?

  20. Ashley Thrash

I seriously couldn’t make it without my Wally+! I’ve got brain cancer & have seizures, so I can’t drive. I’m dependent on delivery. AND I get delivery to my elderly grandparents as well. So much faster than Amazon shipping too.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you for taking the time to comment and let us know how much this has helped you, Ashley! It’s also great that you have been able to use it to get delivery for your grandparents too! 🤗 ❤️

  21. Jeanette---

I use amazon prime A LOT…I am almost ready to switch to walmart+, even at full price. the idea of the “regular prices” and groceries getting delivered for free is a bonus. I don’t qualify for the cheap deal. (i’ve never had walmart+ before) but this may be the year that i take the plunge…

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, Jeanette! I use Amazon Prime a lot too! LOL 🤗 Hoping you love Walmart+ too, if you decide to try it!🤞

  22. Samantha Garcia

Does anyone know how we redeem the 10 cents of gasoline? I use Walmart + more than Amazon and can’t seem to be able to use it.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, Stephanie! I found this info – “Subscribers can apply their benefits at the pump by downloading the Walmart app, selecting member prices on fuel from the W+ membership page, and following the instructions there.” I also spotted this helpful 1 minute video that Walmart released on how to score the fuel discounts! (P.S. If you’re having trouble with the page loading, you might switch to a different browser. For some reason, once I did this, the video loaded.) Hoping this is helpful! 💖

  23. Cassandra (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Kim! Be sure to look for a pop-up with this discounted offer as well once you’ve logged into your account. The post has been updated with the info above. ♥

  24. Susan

Loved my Walmart+ membership until four months after I joined, my account was compromised in spite of security protocols and my cards were used for five identical fraudulent orders over $288 each. All have been taken care of by my bank and card company except for one, which Walmart is disputing as not being fraudulent, so I’m still fighting that nearly two months later. And they were absolutely no help AT ALL when the fraud first occurred and I was frantically contacting everyone about it. I cancelled today and will not ever join again. So, be careful if you do join. This was the first time this has ever happened to me and I think it was an inside job.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry to hear your account was compromised, Susan! That does sounds super frustrating. Hoping that you are able to resolve the other fraudulent order soon. Thank you for sharing your honest feedback and experience with us. 🤗 ❤️

    • Sam

Walmart has a problem and they know it. Something similar happened to my account. It was 6 orders all over $400 each, 1 was $700. It’s was alcoholic beverages, party platters, jewelry, lots of meat, an Apple Watch and a pencil among other things. It was done all in the span of 30 to 40 minutes. They placed a trial order for less than a dollar, then went on a shopping spree.

Walmart tried to tell me that it was not on their side that it was compromised on my end. It was BS because I used a digital number that was ONLY set up to be used at Walmart+. I was able to take the watch serial number to apple and they locked it. The person who said she was gifted the watch went to apple to complain. Guess where she ended up? Lol.

Walmart tried to say that my kids had placed the orders. What kids? I have none. Then they said, it was me that placed the orders and felt guilty afterwards about the money I had spent. The orders, even the trial $.99 cent one was placed when I was in a 9 hour long surgery. It would have been impossible for me to be online placing those orders. I did get all my money back because I used a very specific card and Walmart couldn’t back out.

They know it’s happening a lot and it’s most likely their employees doing it. They set it up so someone they know, accepts the order and does the delivery. My case was on the news because of how outrageous it all was. A couple people reached out to me from across the country, then a lawyer contacted me. As you guessed it, there was a lawsuit already, you should join it. I have even thought, I got my money back because I had to waste hours trying to fix it. I also, had to go through and have my credit history checked and locked.

  25. hip2trade

I’ve been a Walmart plus member before and my account is offering me to rejoin for the discount price. Just mentioning it for anyone who had a membership in the past and may have the rejoin discount offer.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up on the offer you received hip2trade! 💕

I also live outside of delivery area. I am 50 miles from my nearest Walmart. I am not sure I could make a pick up for any specific time. What if I have car problems or construction issues or accidents. So I don’t do pickups. I have also noticed prices have increased by a large amount on some items I purchased in the past. I doubt I will renew.

I only signed up because it was 3 months free from Panera. It’s been probably a month now and I haven’t used the membership yet. It’s been years since I shopped at Walmart, and it’s only 3 miles from me. The other reason I joined is Walmart + has free Paramount + subscription for 3 months. I am finally catching up on Blue Bloods 😀

  28. Alli (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there Wendy, it looks like the 50% off deal is for new members only!

  29. Sue

Hi is a free paramount plus subscription still included with Walmart plus?

    • Mary

I have Walmart + and the Paramount+ Essential Plan is included complimentary. That one is ad-supported is normally $5.99/month or $59.99/year. I am not sure why it is not listed as a benefit above in the list above, though.

      • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful response and feedback, Mary. 💕 We’ve added the Paramount+ into the post as another added benefit. 🤗

      • Sue

Mary thanks for answering my question.

I did it, I took the plunge! We have our eldest son living several states away. The idea that we could send him what he needed was worth it. There is a learning curve. I put several things in my cart, hoping for delivery. But, the minimum required order amount for my delivery needed to be $35?! Now, if it was some thing that could be shipped, the $35 no longer applied. Still, it’s a good deal. And I will get the hang of it!

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

YAY! 🎉 Hoping you end up loving it, Jeanette! Thanks for sharing how it’s been working for you so far! 🤗🥰

Do you know if you can purchase a membership in a different family member’s name and still get the deal?

  32. Mila

I really want to get the membership now, but I don’t want to tip. I saw Walmart trucks in our area (live in Cincinnati). I have a question to those who recently got Walmart Plus and lives in a big city. Is there an option where you can get a delivery done by Walmart drivers and no tip required? Even if it’s the next day delivery, but as long as no tip required or even not allowed. Thank you!!

    • S

You can not and in my experience it has been all bad. It was a mess, they use random delivery drivers (think college students or people who do not speak English) and things goes missing all the time. I am in a larger city also like you and they were trying out the drones because Amazon was too. That wasn’t as bad but it was only good for OTC meds which was kind silly because there was several other drugstores around that were cheaper, doing the same.

      • Mila

Thank you for your response. I asked because I have just signed up for Kroger Boost Service. I opted for a cheaper version ($59 annually and it’s the next day delivery). The next day delivery is carried out only by Kroger employees and drivers. The order needs to be $35 or more. They specifically ask NOT to tip their drivers, since they pay their drivers accordingly, I assume. My philosophy is that I spread pay for the membership, so can you not hire your own drivers and make it competitive enough for their drivers not to rely on tips only?

  33. Barb

I used to have the membership but was not currently active and they let me rejoin for $49.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

GREAT! Happy to hear you were able to rejoin for this price! 😊 💗

  34. Rebecca

I am wondering if I am currently on a trial membership, if this would start when the trial membership ends?

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there, Rebecca! You might check your offers once you login to see if this offer is available to you once the trial ends. Hoping this is helpful! 💞

  35. Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks a ton for sharing the information you received from their online chat representative, meema! ❤️

  36. Katie

I currently have a monthly membership and was able to switch to the annual membership for $49. It does not show up under rewards or benefits. Go to your membership plan and there’s a tab that you can click that says “change to annual”. Click on it and it says change to annual for $49 etc. It renews on the date that your monthly plan would normally renew. (At least it did for me ). Great deal !! Can’t beat the price!

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! Thanks so much for sharing how this worked for you, Katie! Happy that you could score the annual membership for $49! 🙌 💕

  37. Paul

I have a plus membership for Sams Club for $100. I was charged a shipping fee Once for $6 for renewing my card online for a card I already had. Anyway I use $100 worth of gift cards that I get from redeeming from Various survey & GPT sites, such as Swag Bucks etc. , so I never pay out of pocket. I was wondering if someone could apply a Wal-Mart gift card towards a Wal-Mart plus membership to either pay or reduce the cost of this product if they had one available to them ?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Paul! I did find this on purchasing the Walmart Plus membership – “Gift cards can’t be used to pay for or extend an existing membership. If you’re a trial or paid W+ member, you can redeem your gift card for purchases at Walmart.com.”

They do however have Walmart Plus gift cards that you can grab. 🤗

    • LadyDay

I use Swagbucks, E-rewards, Opinion Outpost, etc. I signed up for a Paypal account and sent myself a Paypal Gift Card (using Swagbucks) to pay for my renewal in August.

  38. Octavia

I was given a referal code and when trying to use it to sign-up for the $49 it promps me to pay $98. So does that mean it only works if I pay full price vs the special right now?

  39. Eileen L

I currently have Walmart + account the expires in 2 months. I went to my local Walmart store and asked about getting this deal and was told that it only applies to new membership…….
I would love to find this in writing……so I can show them…I understand that I can just signup under another name, like my daughters name…..Anyone have any insight about this? thanks

  40. Steph79106

I am just pondering. My membership is due in Sept. I wonder if I cancel my membership now, if I would be considered a new customer?

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there, Steph79106! I’m not finding any details on cancelling early and being eligible for new customer promotions, but you could reach out to Walmart customer service at 1-800-925-6278 to see if they can provide help with this. 🤗 💖

    • christac83

I’m wondering the same thing because my membership also ends in September. Please let me know if you find out if we could cancel now and then renew at the $49 price. Thank you!

  41. Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful response, Paulina! 💕

I am a Walmart delivery driver in the Roseville California area. I use an app called Spark, which is where we get the orders to deliver.
I’m over 50, so no young driver here.
I for one appreciate any tip at all! Lately, I have received a few tips in cash, from some of the nicest people on the planet.
I often deliver in the more rural area, and as I was unloading the groceries she apologized for not having tip money.
I told her that the conversation was my tip.
She was darn funny and was cracking me up.
I could go on and on with stories. Just know that we can be young old fast slow and way too chatty like me!

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for sharing your experience as a delivery driver, tracyann! It sounds like you’ve had a good experience and really enjoy the interaction with people! I’ve just recently started using Walmart + and have been tipping on the app, but it’s good to know that you can also tip in cash! 😊 💞

  43. Tricia

thanks, super easy. I was able to switch my walmart plus to the assist very quickly and got a $10.37 prorated refund! I’ll take any discount I can get in these tough times.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! Happy to hear how easy that was to switch and that you scored a refund! Thanks for sharing, Tricia! ❤️

  44. Karen

I just want to put out there my daughter Walmart account was recently hacked. Once we noticed she contacted them immediately and advised someone ordered things with a a bunch of gift cards and advertised to cancel the order. We were told it was canceled and to just change her password and everything will be fine. A few days later the person requested a refund for the item which did get mailed and got the refund. We had a two step verification on the account and they still managed to access the account. We have closed down the account and will not open a new Walmart account. Shocked at how much the fraud got through. Just stating facts before you open an account with them.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about that, Karen. Thanks for the warning and the heads up on your experience. 💕

    • Sheri Baby

This, along with the two other fraud comments, have confirmed my decision not to join. I have had a Sam’s membership for a decade without issues and and it’s enough for me.

  45. sheilaann

I’ve had Walmart since 2021 , I order house supplies or if I’m running low on on food perishables. I tip 15% or more depending on how much I order. I”lol be honest I’ve had my ups and downs with delivery from door dash. But Walmart customer service is awesome and they understand your situation, they will basically do anything to keep there customer happy. I believe that Walmart is good and great to have . Also you find great prices . So yes highly recommended.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

YAY! Glad to hear about how pleased you are with your membership and how helpful customer service has been with any troubles, sheilaann. 🙌💓 Thanks so much for letting us know you would recommend Walmart+!

  46. acgold

I have Walmart+ through American Express. Honestly, if it wasn’t free I would not bother. I can’t get Paramount+ (Spectrum is totally annoying!). I order for delivery and they change to ship from store. I got a delivery at 1AM- they rang the bell! Whenever they can get someone to drive the 15 minutes from the store they do. Last week they split a 4 piece easy order into two. The first was delivered from the store, no problem. The second part was delivered to the next building. My husband went to find it and it wasn’t there. I was given a hassle- told the GPS coordinates are mine. The picture was not our building. Then told to go to the store and talk to the store manager. Finally a refund. I order for my nephew who is away at college and same thing. Mark ship and they change deliver from store. So many times the order gets cancelled, as they don’t want to go to the campus.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear about the issues you’ve had with your membership, acgold. 💞 Thanks so much for commenting about your honest experience. Hoping they are able to get some of the delivery mishaps sorted out for future orders to you! 🤞
