Did you sign up for the JCPenney Rewards coupon on July 22nd? You should have received an email in your inbox with your $24.99 off a $25 purchase coupon by now. If you signed up and haven’t received your coupon, you may want to reach out to their customer service here.

JCPenney just announced they are extending the coupon’s usage date through August 4th! This means if you didn’t get your coupon until yesterday, you still have plenty of time to shop!

Note that this coupon can be used both in-store and online, but make sure you read the fine print before you shop as there are a lot of exclusions. For instance, the code cannot be used with anything on sale, clearance or doorbuster, or most name-brand items.

        FYI – I got this reply through CHAT Wednesday evening 7/26:
        “I’m sorry for this situation. We are aware of this issue and customers who haven’t receive the rewards code will receive within this weekend…This issue has been escalated. Please contact us if you do not receive it.”
        I couldn’t get them to pin down a date though ;).

    I bought a pair of St. John’s Bay jeans at $27.99 and with the coupon they were $3.22 I sent this also in an email to you guys. Had to really look as you can’t use it on clearance or doorbusters. I asked a friendly employee for assistance on what the coupon could be used for, very helpful.

    Be careful with the coupon. I ordered some shampoo not excluded on the coupon. The order processed and confirmation came to my email and within 2 minutes I got an email that it wasnt processed and to call their number because the coupon “failed”. He said many of them are failing and they will reissue but did not know when and said he could offer me $3 off the item instead and I cancelled right away. I never received a cancellation email just a failure to process after it was already confirmed.

      I had the same issue yesterday. Spoke to 3 different customer service reps and ALL told me the order was in progress and there was no issue. The order was still “in progress” this morning and I couldn’t cancel it. I placed a new order for the same items using the same coupon and the order went through perfectly.

    I wasted way too much time looking for an item that would qualify. My husband and I must have spent an hour. I understand no clearance, no doorbusters, no name brands, but in my store things were not clearly marked. We found some St John’s men’s tee’s that were not marked door busters and yet they came up doorbusters. We could not find anything in clothes. I didn’t need any makeup so I looked at things for the home, I finally got some bath mats (which I really didn’t need, but wanted to use my coupon!). Another customer was telling me that she spent the whole morning yesterday and couldn’t find one thing that qualified, she told me not to waste my time. Maybe next time I’ll look online.

    Quick question. Can someone please verify if they received the $30.00 in rewards as a replacement for the original coupon, can all $30.00 be used in one purchase and are they any restrictions on sales or clearance merchandise?

      I got three $10 rewards instead of the coupon and during checkout, it did let me apply all three (it had to be $30 after discounts). Rewards usually work on clearance/sales, but each reward will have restrictions attached. Excerpts from mine below:

      “…Does not apply to Sephora, In-Store Services, Gift Cards, … [more restrictions for Puerto Rico] … Reward cannot be replaced or redeemed as cash or merchandise credit if merchandise is returned. JCPenney Rewards amount applied to all qualifying items on prorated basis; any refunds will be given in the prorated amount.”

    Hi Hip2Save community, I reached out to AskJCP on twitter after I never got my coupon and they were so very nice! They ended up giving me 3 – $10 rewards to my account. So basically $30 for the trouble. I think that was super nice of them, I just wanted to share my experience. I know these things can be frustrating, but usually just reaching out to the company and letting them know about the error they will usually make it right. That is awesome customer service in my opinion, so I really wanted to share my experience with y’all!
