I have owned my KitchenAid mixer for about 3 years. It is able to do many things that allow me more time with my family. I particularly like the peeler/corer and, of course, the mixing attachments. My hands don’t work correctly so the KitchenAid will knead the dough for our family recipes like Apple Strudel. My recommendation? Everyone needs a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer!

This is a bowl-lift Kitchenaid. I personally prefer the tilt-head Kitchenaid. The bowl-lift one can be tricky because you have to carry/hold the bowl up to get it in place. With some stuff I find that you have to take the bowl off the machine to fill it with whatever you’re working with so holding a full bowl up to load it back into the machine can be a real pain for those with arthritis/not the best arm strength, or those that are elderly. The only thing this machine has going for it is that doesn’t have a glass bowl. The glass bowls look nice but are extra heavy. The times I’ve used a bowl-lift Kitchenaid with a glass bowl I always made sure I had someone help me load/unload the bowl and I sat the bowl down in the sink to wash it.
Thank you for the great advice! Truly appreciate it.
