    i am sure this has been mentioned in your Walgreen’s policy posts, but keep in mind Walgreen’s cash does expire. Who knew “cash” would expire. it is on their website, but i had not noticed it and let some expire.

I did find these details on the Wags Cash, if it might be helpful for future promotions – “Walgreens Cash rewards expire one year after they are earned or if an account has been inactive for 6 months. Your account is deemed inactive if you have not used your membership in-store or online.” Bummer that some of yours expired.         HI, HIP2SAVERS! Is there a way to see on the website if I have Rewards that have expired? Will those appear under the Cash Rewards activity log as negative/debit entries? I know some times we can get too focused on earning our Wag Cash Rewards, especially when there are bonuses!

        ALSO, for the $20 reward on 3 offers completed, do we need to pickup online orders BY TODAY for the 3 “orders” to qualify? I carpool and have limited transpo and may not be able to pickup my BOPIS orders until tomorrow. I hope that will still count towards the “3 offers” we need to do to get the 20 bonus reward!

          Hi Gabe! If you login to the app, you can go to your profile and click on your Walgreens cash rewards, then choose “view rewards activity” This should be where you can view any rewards that might have expired.
          To receive the reward for 3+ completed offers, I believe you would need to pickup today for that to count. Hoping this is helpful! 🤗💕

    I think I am going to sit today’s deals out. I don’t need more personal care items even if they end up being free or money makers. I got a Walgreens delivery order yesterday and one of my items wasn’t in stock so I missed the $15 Walgreens cash with a $30 purchase by a few cents. 🙁

      Call the 800 number and explain that to them …tell them you want to return the whole order because you lost out on the $15 and they will most likely credit you the $15 to your account.

          I did that this morning! The toothbrush I ordered was out of stock so it wouldn’t give me the deal. I tried calling last night and it was an hour wait time. I tried at 7:30 am Ca time and got right in. She added the 20 reward no problem! Def call.

        That’s great! I ended up calling then chatted with them because the estimated wait time on the call was 58 minutes so I hung up. The chat wait times was probably 10 minutes and then about 10 minutes to chat while they looked up my account. So 20 minutes and they credited my account $15 so it was worth it.

    I am astonished at how many items I wanted to order that are either out of stock for shipping or not shipping eligible. Also, many out of stock at store. Having car problems this week so having to do only ship to home. It is like they are clearing out their warehouse or something! Thanks for the heads up about rewards expiring. I have a whole lot saved up from even before this week. Have not been willing to spend it due to not wanting to reduce any new rewards. I better get in gear and spend soon! You would think that they would give a courtesy email to say you had expiring rewards.

      I agree. I was trying to do an online order to ship to home and the only way I could get anything is pick up in store and not all items are available at all stores but since you are trying to reach that $45 threshold you have to find one that does or just buy something else. What a headache. Last night also around 7:30 p.m. PST the $15 reward ghosted. It was in my cart to buy after dinner and then, “poof” gone. I did not buy anything yesterday because of it. Good luck all. Seems like the luck of the draw since they have this promotion going on.

      No don’t do it. W cash acts as a discount rather than an amount Walgreens will calculate you have spent. Also any Walgreens coupons you might use will not count towards your spend total.

        So anytime you are usi g Walgreens cash to pay you may not get the expected wags cash because it lowers your spent total.? For example . If I spend $80 then use $50 wags cash to pay , Walgreens calculates like I only spent $30 for potential wags cash ?? Hope that makes sense . I’ve used wags cash to lower my oop and I still got the wags cash I was expecting.

      Yes it will but keep in mind that the order must be placed in the app and picked up the same day to qualify. If you don’t have the app downloaded and set up go ahead and do that now. Also the stores will be heavily shopped out of stock already. As odd as it sounds go in the store and shop and place your order while you are there. Some folks take their order to an employee and say I’ve just placed an order here the items are or others go grab a coffee and come back when it’s shopped. I hope this is helpful.

          My apologies I was wrong about it being only in the app. That was Tuesday. I am so sorry for that mistake. Walgreens has something call a promotions terms page. Customer service will point you there if you don’t get the W cash you expected for the reason. I just Google “Walgreens promotion terms” every Sunday to figure what is eligible for store pickup and what is not. Here are the terms copied and pasted:

      I did 3 deals as of Friday and did not receive my $20. I received the 25% rewards, the 10/10 for placing a pick up order, and $10/30 for the Gillette promo as least as far as I know. I use my desk top to order and Friday the site was not showing any rewards totals at all despite signing in and out and starting the site in a new browser. Then I checked my points and saw points equivalent to what I was expecting for Friday’s promo and my Gillette order.

      I don’t know that I ever get the cash back on these multiple order deals–for example, the spend $15 this month 3 times and get $7.

    I tried the Listerine deal above and noticed that if you use FAST10 code, your total drops to $9.89 making you ineligible for the spend $10 on Listerine, get $5.00 cash rewards. I then tried the 1.5 liter Listerine $12.49 using the FAST10 code and my estimated cash rewards indicated I would receive the $5.00 cash rewards

    I’d appreciate it if every time at the top of the Walgreens posts, if H2S could post the online coupon codes, too, like FAST10 or WAG10, or whatever might have been available. I’m happy to try them all, in hopes of squeezing out a bit more savings. Same comment about Ibotta offers being spotty for me.
    On Tuesday I picked up order, but the employee who helped me somehow went into the Walgreens system had changed that I wanted a printed receipt. So no receipt to submit anywhere else. I called customer service, did not want to wait over 60 min to talk to rep, so called back the next day, and had to wait only 20 min. Told cust serv rep about the snafu, and she gave me $8 in WC. Felt better, but it’s such a darned hassle to do Walgreens anymore.

        Off Topic, but wanted to give an update from a question discussed earlier in the week. Regarding, using a Register Reward Coupon “Spend $50 earn $9 Walgreens Cash Rewards” in addition to the offers this week.

        I decided to give one of these coupons a try during an in store purchase yesterday as it was going to expire this week anyway. The clerk scanned the coupon and I never saw anything on the screen indicating it was not accepted. However, when I got home I checked the receipt and there was nothing printed above the manufacturer coupons that it was accepted and added (like it usually is). I did an online chat and the agent was kind of enough to add it to my balance.

        Just sharing my experience.

    Maybe someone has already commented on this but I wondered what the best way is to deal with this situation.

    I did an order last night for the $20 reward on a $45+ order. Then this morning one of the items was canceled from my order so I’m assuming I won’t get the rewards since it dropped below the $45. I called CS but was on hold for 20+ mins and had to hang up.
    Item Subtotal: $44.70
    Sales Tax**: $3.21
    Manufacturer Coupons: -$16.00
    Order total: $31.91

    I had said they could substitute but they didn’t I guess.

    I also somehow ordered 2 Crest when I meant to only order 1 of those and 1 of an Oral-b item.

    Has anyone had luck with CS adding the rewards when that happens? Maybe it’s best to just cancel the whole thing.

      I did. I called CS because, same thing, unavailable item. I said it wasn’t my fault that the item was not available, when it was available when I ordered it. She said I could cancel the order, but she could give me the missing reward as a one time courtesy. CS reminded me that if it falls below the threshold, because of unavailabe item, then the reward won’t be given. All the CS rep I spoke with in the past were very polite and nice. Good luck to you. Just be prepared to wait as they are inundated with calls because of the promo. I called in the morning and I only waited 10 minutes.

    Watch out for substitutions when doing pickup – I had placed an order for the $20 minimum one but the store did a substitution that dropped my order below the $20 so I wound up losing the bonus. I didn’t notice until I picked it up the next day.

      I am now sitting on hold with Walgreens customer service for that very same reason. Due to inventory inaccuracy two items weren’t available after placing my order, so I’m $5.50 short of the $45. I’m hoping they’ll work with me since I wasn’t offered a chance to order anything else to make up the difference. Throughout this week’s promotions I’ve had to call customer service twice to get the accurate number of Walgreens cash rewards. I’d call them if I were you to see what can be done.

      Hey there! I don’t see a limit listed for those. I do find this limitation on earning Rewards in the Walgreens Days FAQ –

      “The maximum amount of Walgreens Cash rewards that can be redeemed in a single transaction is $50 Walgreens Cash rewards, with a $100 Walgreens Cash rewards redemption limit per day. Rewards cannot be redeemed on pharmacy purchases.”

      “Can I take advantage of multiple offers during myW™ days and combine them? Is there a maximum amount of rewards I can earn?
      You can absolutely take advantage of multiple offers!”

        This is the only way I would do mobile order for curbside pick up for years. The store knows me and they call me “good customer” as I do the job for them LOL. It saves all the hassles and issues after pick up (and you can choose the products yourself with good expiration dates too).

    Does anyone have trouble with their 10 cash reward for a $10+ pick-up order? I put the items in cart but both website and app won’t show the estimated 10 cash reward for pick up order at the check out page, only the 25% bonus reward. I’ve experienced many times that the app shows incorrect cash reward so I’ll go with what’s showed at the final check out page on website. Any one succeeded getting that 10 cash reward after pick up? I’m hesitating to place an order lol

    I am trying to take advantage of the Revlon savings using pickup today. But, I am not sure how to get the Ibotta savings since Ibotta won’t allow you to order online from Walgreens. You can only get the savings if you upload an instore receipt. How are we able to get around this?

      Not for sure. The promotion terms state valid 7/28/23. It doesn’t say the order has to be picked up today. My vote would be to try it and if it doesn’t work out return the order. You won’t know for sure until you pick up. I did Walgreens brand toilet paper to get the 30% offer as well as the $10 in W Cash. It was an easy moneymaker.

    I notice that in the last couple of days, when you order online, the pages that show your cart, and then the final checkout page no longer show the estimated rewards you will earn. It only shows after I actually place the order. Unfortunately once you place the order, you can’t cancel it unless you call a toll free number, so it’s a hassle in case the rewards are not what you expected. Has anyone else seen this change?

      I found that if I ordered through the app the estimated rewards were shown. Like you said, online wasn’t reliable. The real problem starts when you don’t get the rewards you were supposed to. Then you get the pleasure of waiting on hold to speak to a customer service agent. My experience has been positive though as all of them were willing to give me the rewards I deserved, including the $20 reward from Thursday that I didn’t get when they didn’t substitute some toothpaste that they could have (I requested substitutions) resulting in my going below the $45 threshold. When I went to the store to pick up the order I purposefully checked the shelves and they had the toothpaste in a different flavor. The customer service rep was very pleasant and helpful. She mentioned they have been having technical problems with the promotional event, too, so that just complicates things further.

        Regarding your other comment about not meeting the threshold, the Walgreens in our area are out of stock on so many items, and the online inventory is often inaccurate. I have resorted to going down to the store to check inventory, then coming home to make the purchase on my computer for in-store pickup. It’s a pain but that’s a more reliable way to avoid them being out of stock on your order. Of course I will only do this when the bonus for an online order is worth it.

      If you were to get anything, maybe out of pocket. I wouldn’t chance it by using any walgreens cash in your transaction if you want to get the promotion.

      Use your Walgreens cash with extreme caution. You will not earn Walgreens cash rewards on any discounts, Walgreens cash used, store credit, Any thing that doesn’t actually go in Walgreens corporate pocket. Folks can really get in trouble when they have stacked deals. Say you want to do both a deal that requires spending $50 and a deal that requires spending $20 and you want to use Walgreens cash to reduce your costs include that in the calculations that the Walgreens Cash comes proportionally off of each item in your shopping cart . It is quite possible to spend what Walgreens calculates as the $50 but not what Walgreens will calculate as enough for the $20 deal. If it is a more complicated deals within deals reconsider. I hope that was what you wanted to know. I apologize if I didn’t get the question right.

    Wow, so it sounds like I am not the only one that got my order/points messed up yesterday and did not get the points I was supposed to. Manager in the store was not helpful. Although I know they can add points, he refused (even though it was his staff that messed up). It’s a long story so I will spare you the details. I tried chat this morning. I was 63rd in the queue. Sounds like it was a mess yesterday since I have never seen the queue so LONG! It would have been easier for the store manager to fix this. Ugh.

    I had a 25% rewards offer that should have stacked with the 15% offer. I purchased a Walgreens branded item at 1.99 and only received .36 back. I did not use Walgreens rewards.

    Not only that, but online it wasn’t showing me any Walgreens rewards when I added items to my cart. Any explanation would be appreciated.

Definitely not the end of the world, but if I didn’t get the 10%, does that mean I didn’t technically do the deal for today? This was my third day, so I was hoping to be eligible for the $20 too.       Just looking at it I think Walgreens may have calculated the extra 20% for Walgreens (10% for non Walgreens brands) in the following manner. So 30% of $9.98 would be $3.00 rounded up right? 20% of $3.00 is $.60. $3.00 + .60= $3.60. I think you are good.

    I still spent over $25 on Gillette and didn’t get the cash rewards?

    I spent $132 last week (everything was a good deal), and got back $107 in Walgreens cash. My best deal was on 7/28 when I got paper towels, tissues, tampons, disinfecting wipes, and snickers for $11.27 and got back $24.48 in Walgreens cash! I don’t shop at Walgreen’s much anymore because everything is so expensive, but the deals were great last week! I hope they do it again sometime.
