I received 30% W cash reward for today’s use, on top of the 25% W cash for the whole week. I think I’m getting both in W cash coz I have 2 dove body wash in my basket, and I used the $7 off 2 dove. And my estimated W cash is $11.84, including the $4 Wcash for 2 dove items, after paying $7 plus tax. Win-win!

I am getting back into couponing. So I have an online order waiting to purchase. It adds up to be $22 and I will get $34 W cash. If I use Walgreens Cash that I already have, will I still get the $34 W cash? A couple weeks ago it said I would get money, adn then I used some W Cash and then I didn’t get the Walgreens Cash I thought I would. I hope this makes sense. Does anyone know?
That has happened to me as well. To be safe when there are rewards involved I don’t use my rewards to pay, just to make sure I get my rewards credited. I know there are instances when you will still get them (like buy 2 Crest items, get $4), but between that and getting an OOS notice after I placed the order I have not gotten my rewards more times than I have. So I just pay with a straight credit card, no rewards points. Other people might do it differently but that’s what I do.
The way it always seems to work for me is, as long as your total AFTER using rewards is still above the threshold, you’ll earn new rewards. So in your example, you should be able to use $10 in rewards to bring your subtotal to $24, and then still earn the additional $10 rewards. However, if you used $15 in existing rewards, you wouldn’t earn the new rewards because it would bring your subtotal to $19. I hope that makes sense!
NO, you will not get wcash if you use wcash on any “spend” purchase. Such as “spend $20 on x get y”. SOMETIMES an offer will say ” buy 2 get x” and you can do that, but you have to be very careful.

Hi KO, if you want to see your savings right away, you may want to wait until Wednesday if your cart is over $20 so you can save money right when you purchase. If you prefer to earn Walgreens Cash to spend later, you’ll probably want to order today instead.
Also, be sure to check what category your 20% Cash Rewards applies to so you’ll actually get your Walgreens Cash!

I wish all the deals were Walgreen cash. I stopped doing the in store rewards, they expire too soon! And if I have to make a purchase at regular price just to use up the rewards, it’s like I didn’t get a reward at all as their regular prices are just so inflated.

I know what you mean but I just use them on a different brand of item that is on sale. It doesn’t have to be a full price item, it works as long as it’s not for something from the same brand.

I bought mostly walgreens branded groceries and was awarded extra 30% in rewards cash. Don’t use any walgreens cash so you can avail on the extra deal.

Riss there used to be a breakdown of the rewards in the app under order history but that was eliminated when they did updates. I really miss it. Everyone should be getting the 25% plus the $10 on the food items. If you order anything in addition that earns rewards on its own say “spend $20 on Revlon earn $8” you get that W cash as well. I’m terrible at math but you can do a rough estimate in you head fairly easily. From the cart take a look at the “item cost” and divide by 4; that is your 25%. Then add your $10. For the week everyone should be getting the 25% on top of whatever the deal of the day is. It is really a time to rack up the WC. Best wishes!

Easiest way and cost efficient way for me to get the $20 bonus for 3 days shopping is Sunday, Friday and Saturday.
Sunday my most shopped was grocery. I had a kit kat coupon. So paid 1.50 got back 52 cents.
Friday is the $10 in rewards on a $10 online order. With digital coupons, this should easily be a money maker.
Saturday is last chance percentage back. Just buy something cheap like a candy bar
Those 3 days should easily trigger the $20 bonus.

Do you have the digital coupon clipped for the offer? Check that first. If you do then go back and look at each item in the app and make sure that you see that each item is eligible and says “Spend 20+ in groceries”. Do not use Walgreens cash to pay. Any Walgreens coupons (not true manufacturer’s) will not count towards meeting the $20 requirement. Don’t do the deal until you see that the estimated WC is correct. Best of luck.
I’ve been trying to figure this out and don’t see the offer on any of the grocery items I look at. I placed an order and picked it up earlier and thought it said I would get the $10 cash but didn’t so then I figured something I bought wasn’t included. I was trying to do another order now but maybe it’s too late. Shouldn’t it be anything in the ‘grocery’ category?
Did it have to be items with offer? I just ordered items, some with coupons, some full price, but my estimated cash back will have $2 -$3 money maker. I guess we shall see when I puck them up tomorrow. I thought it’s anything grocery items, too.
I checked my account later last night (7/24) and I did get $17.70 in rewards on a $23.90 order. The thing is, I still have the $10 rewards on grocery showing in my account and that it expires today 7/25. Not sure where all those rewards came from if they didn’t include that $10.
Ok they canceled one of my pickup items and my order total is $16.43 now. It was a $7 item. I don’t know what to do now. Can they modify my order when I pick it up so I can add something to get to the deal threshold. Or am I not picking this up and missing out on this deal. Deep sigh

This is just based on my personal experience only and experiences can vary. The 1-800 folks are going to tell you to call the store. If you call the store they are going to tell you the order can’t be modified. So go in and ask to talk to the store manager. If you have a manager that is sympathetic the manager can start over giving you the prices you would have paid , adding in a substitute , and giving you the W cash. It is a lot of trouble for them but it can be done. If the manager is not agreeable just tell the manager to cancel the order at that point and walk away. Here is a tip to avoid this problem in the future. Add two or three of every item you want in the cart. If only 1 item can be added you can be reasonably sure the store doesn’t really have that item so add something else. Don’t forget to go back and change the items back to 1. Best of luck to you.

ALERT! I wanted to add this message for all the Walgreen Shoppers out there. This morning I had a surprise coupon to clip in my Walgreens account for Wednesday’s deals. I received a BONUS coupon for Wed. 7/26 “Earn $15 WCR when you spend $30. The coupon is good online and in store.
JD827 – I do the same trick you do to check store products (adding more then one item in the cart, to see how many items a store actually has).
Another trick I have used – actually go into the store to put eyes on their inventory, then do an online order for the products they have in store while I am sitting in the parking lot. I typically get a text in just a few minutes that my order is ready for pickup. I do this because stores in my area have never made a substitution on the products I ordered, even when I include specific instructions.

I also got an email from Walgreens where it says all Walgreens items will earn at the rate of 30% all week long. Items that earn WC on their own such as Listerine also stack so keep that in mind. I can’t guarantee that this will work on Saturday but I did multiple offers on Monday and got all the rewards. What will not work in the stores on Saturday is a storewide RR coupon like “earn $9 when you spend $40” in all probability it is one or the other—but I could be wrong. Hope this is helpful.

I have one myself. If you use it and it stacks please post. I would be grateful. As of now I’m not planning to use it because I don’t think if it goes wrong customer service would correct it. There’s also the possibility the system will just reject it and no harm. This is a pretty unique week for Walgreens. So a lot is a mystery. General questions regarding rewards. I have $177 in cash rewards. What the best use? All deals just generate rewards, but not letting to use wisely.
Hey Dina! You can spend and earn cash rewards on offers that require you to purchase a certain number of items. You just can’t spend and earn on those that require a specific $ amount to be spent. Hoping that may be helpful in your shopping! 💕💕

Save it until Dec when lots of gift ideas and special items pop up. As long as you use at least a few WC every six months WC lasts a year. Use it on B1G1 deals to get two free items. Use it on soda. Use it on “buy x items” type deals and earn and redeem at the same time.

So I put in Wags10 when doing my grocery order of 10 cash back for 20 spent. I spent 20.02 and everything was available except for 2 items they substituted. Did I lose the 10 reward bc I put in the 10 percent off coupon for online orders? I’m hesitant to pick up now. It doesn’t say cash back is pending in my account. This is all so confusing sometime what works and what doesn’t, thanks for posting though! It’s a good opportunity to save money if you can do it right:)

You won’t see the W cash until after you pick up the order since you haven’t actually bought anything yet. Walgreens guarantees that you never pay more for substitutes than for the original item you requested. From that I can be pretty certain that you did dip below the $20 spend requirement. When Walgreens has a deal that says spend a certain amount they mean that exact amount goes in their piggy bank. Discount codes can be very useful on a “spend deal” but use them when your cart goes above the target goal. In this case of “spend $20” your cart total could go to $22, use WAG10 and still get the W cash because you did spend an actual total of $20. With the information you gave here Walgreens will calculate for their purposes you spent $18. I hope things work out for you. Chat with the store manager and see what they say.

So sorry you weren’t able to get a paper receipt with your online order, as that still seems to be an option. 💕 First, log in to your myWalgreens account, and then go to “Your Account” > “Emails & Alerts” > then un-check the box next to “Digital Receipts.” When picking up your order, be sure to head inside at your store to complete the transaction at the register. It’s also helpful to let the cashier know that you would like a paper receipt too. If you choose to pick up your order via curbside, there is no option for the associate to provide a paper receipt to you. Hoping this does the trick and you’re able to earn cash back on your next order! 🤞

No. Using rewards messes up most “earn” transactions.

Does it have to be $35 before or after manufacturer coupons? After coupons my total dropped to 30.25 and WC was showing 38.64 after I placed the order it dropped to 15.10 did not pick up order yet.

I’ve always shopped in store and submitted the receipt to ibotta. If I buy in the app for pickup, will I get a receipt I can scan for ibotta? I didn’t see a way to link my Walgreens account to ibotta.

You can get a receipt for in-store pickup on orders! 🙌 First, log in to your myWalgreens account, and then go to “Your Account” > “Emails & Alerts” > then un-check the box next to “Digital Receipts.” When picking up your order, be sure to head inside at your store to complete the transaction at the register. It’s also helpful to let the cashier know that you would like a paper receipt too. If you choose to pick up your order via curbside, there is no option for the associate to provide a paper receipt to you. Hope that helps! 🥰

Went into my account and the box for digital receipts is not checked. I still get digital receipts when I pick up items. Maybe it is our store. Will put a request in the box for comments when ordering and see if that helps. Our Walgreens is so bad that only about 1 in 12 orders actually goes through as the items that are supposed to be in the store are not and the order is cancelled. So frustrating. Usually end up losing the specials due to their poor tracking system as they respond too late to reorder elsewhere.

Try taking something small like a 99 cent tea to the pickup counter and specifically asking them to use the cash register to check you out for both the tea and your pickup order. If they use the handheld scanner it is going to be a digital receipt since the handhelds aren’t connected to a printer. Shift the conversation from I need a printed receipt to please check me out on a regular cash register. A lot will depend on how the manager has trained the staff. Don’t signal you are coming in advance with the app or texts that shifts it to a digital receipt as well. The key is the person who checks you out and whether you can get them to do so on a standard register. Hope that helps.

Went in and got a cash register receipt but then the $15 credit for the $30 purchase disappeared. Had to spend 45 minutes waiting for a representative to answer the phone but they took care of it and credited my account. YEAH!

I’m confused I put everything in my cart with coupons it drops to the amount I’m expecting and it says estimated cash back for todays order will be 40.44 and then on check out it drops to $11.54 any ideas??

I have been doing orders all week and been getting great deals but today when I picked up my order, I didn’t get any of the bonus offers for today – the $15 for spending $30 or the 25% cash on top of other spending. All I got was the $5 for buying $20 worth of schick and the $2 for buying 2 olay face wash. Waiting on hold for customer service now but the wait time is over half an hour.

Thanks for the quick response! It always happened to me in the past when my similar cash rewards coupon is supposed to expire at midnight . I called customer service before, they confirmed that the coupon expired at midnight but they did not know why it did not apply to my order, so I always tried to submit my order before 7:00 PM or sooner if I could. I don’t use Walgreens app. I skip the deals if I can’t submit it before it does not apply. It is strange, so I’m curious to know if anyone has seen the same issue.
Also, if I remember correctly, this issue also happens to cash reward deal such as oral-b, etc…

The digital coupons are always time stamped both the manufacturer and the Walgreens ones. Looking at the actual coupon: it says Expires online 11:59 PM Pacific Time Expires in store 11:59 Local Time.
I’m not sure what time zone you are in- Central Time Zone? If so wouldn’t that be 9:59 PM? Not sure Time Zones aren’t my best. If you don’t get the WC make your case based on what the coupon says with customer service. It’s frustrating with the fine print. I’m sorry.

Oh nope going the wrong way!!! If you are in Central Time according to the time listed on the coupon 11:59 PM Pacific would be 1:59 AM Central wouldn’t it? If you don’t get the W Cash point out what the coupon says to customer service. Hope it goes right.
I am in Central time zone. I thought that after 7PM it does not work but it might not work even before that (after 5PM?) since bellabella said before 7PM the W cash does not seem to add to the estimated rewards. I will test next time to see when it does not add the W cash.

Just an update. I called CS today and she was very nice, and she told me that my threshold went below $30 because of the unavailable item. But the estimated cash back didn’t reflect the $15 when I checked out, so i didn’t know that an item was not available upon pick up. (I didn’t tell her that). I said that it wasn’t my fault that the item became unavailable because it looked like it was in stock when i placed my order. She said I can cancel the order, or she can give me the $15 as one time courtesy. Yay! 😊

I had pop tarts and coke products only in my order and I didn’t see them listed specifically as Deals of the week, plus you all had a deal put together with those items as well, so I figured I would be good to go. I’m kind of kicking myself. I did the deal listed above with the Coke and my total after all coupons was $25.50 (also got $13.80 in rewards). I also had the $15 rewards on $30 so I was pretty close to getting that but didn’t check my coupons before I did the order. Can’t keep track of all this stuff 🙁

Has anyone done a Walgreens store pickup and the store did not scan it out correctly? My husband picked up and as I unpacked, I noticed there was no receipt (they usually put it in one of the bags). The next day it was still showing as ready for pickup, so I went into the store. They said that they know it was picked up and made a note in the system, but it’s still showing as ready for pickup. Has this happened to anyone else? Will the order get cancelled after 72 hrs and I get a refund or will the store override it and I have to file a claim for my points?
This happened to me a while back. I didn’t get any rewards, my coupons were never used, and my card was never charged. I called customer service about it and was told to not worry about it, that it was their problem and I was okay to keep the items. It was so weird.

Hey Pamela! I had something similar happen a few weeks ago with a pick-up. My orders are usually ready pretty quick after placing them, but wasn’t receiving a notification after a few hours. I called the store and they let me know that it was ready for pick-up. Once I picked it up, it still took several hours afterward to receive notification that it had been picked up. The store said their system was taking a bit longer to update, which may be the case here as well, especially with all of the promotions taking place this week. You might wait a bit and check back on your rewards in your account, or reach out to customer service to see if they may be able to update the order as picked up to push them through. ❤️

Many times. It comes from an untrained person. Usually the person tries to scan it out as a FedEx package and of course that doesn’t work. I’ve never had a person tell me they have made a note in the system but I’m highly doubtful that is going to work. I’m pretty sure you will continue to be bombarded to pick it up. Check your credit card. I highly doubt you have been charged. Check your points. I doubt you have those either. I don’t know beyond a shadow of a doubt but I think if you leave things as they are you will have free product but no W cash. What I do is take back the bags that have the bar code on the front, ask for the manager and request they complete the sale. I’m fairly certain this accounts for some of the faulty inventory and shrinkage problems Walgreens is citing. Hope this is somewhat helpful.
