This game is a great time! Easy to learn chess moves and captivates our small children to WANT to play chess. Can start out with the cards which tell you which pieces to move on each turn, which is a great way to start from scratch. Then, using the cards as a reminder, you can play “regular” chess easily. Overall, great fun for the whole family!
We played standard chess with my son a few times… and frankly, it was just frustrating him. It also felt really unfair to play together. With No Stress Chess- it levels the playing field and he has genuinely beat my husband and I on multiple occasions.
Bought this for my 13-year-old son and me to learn chess. It is a lot of fun and using the cards at first really helped us to learn the pieces and moves. Now we play without the cards and while we are by no means experts we love it!
