Most stain and water-resistant coatings for fabric are made out of PFAS — “forever chemicals” like those in Teflon that never break down. They’re being linked to a lot of concerning health issues. I’d be cautious about using stain-resistant materials for little ones, unless you can confirm no PFAS.
My first thought was oh no, what about the chemicals. We already get enough of that, sure don’t want to add to it. This will be a NO for this Grammy!
