Get FREE PetSmart Santa Photos (Reservations are Required)
Book a FREE photo with Santa at PetSmart!
Santa Claus is coming to town, and he’ll be at PetSmart for Santa Photo Days during the first three weekends of December! During PetSmart’s Santa Photo Days, you can bring your pet into the store for a FREE photo with Saint Nick.
Santa photos will be available in all PetSmart U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico stores from 12 – 3 p.m. (local time) on December 10-11 & 17-18. Reservations are required for this event, so head on over here to enter your Zip Code, select a store, and then book a date and time for your pet’s photo with Santa!
Hip tip: You may want to call your store ahead of time to confirm they are participating and have a Santa available.
It appears that Santa Days isn’t just for furry friends like dogs and cats. A wide variety of pets are welcome in accordance with the store’s usual pet policy, so Santa will be happy to pose with your bird, pot-bellied pig, non-venomous snake, or other appropriately secured and vaccinated pets!
Photos taken at the store will be delivered via email after the event. You may also use your personal device during PetSmart’s Santa Photo Days. Download the PetSmart app in advance to use fun photo filters during the event!
Enter PetSmart’s holiday photo contest too!
Pet parents can enter PetSmart’s holiday photo contest on Twitter or Instagram with their pet’s holiday photos by tagging @PetSmart and using #PetSmartSantaDays for a chance to win. Prizes include a $100 gift card (10 winners each weekend) or a year’s worth of Hill’s Science Diet (30 winners total). Find all the details here!
My little girl gets a photo with Santa at Petsmart every year. Some come out really nice and others have been absolutely awful. I’m not sure she enjoys the Santa part but she always gets to go on a sniffing spree from one end of the store to the other and gets a new toy to drag around the house so I think it is a win for us both.
I would call your store before doing this. I signed up at my local store and received a confirmation. I showed up and they said they werenβt doing it. π‘
Oh no Lindsay E., that’s too bad! I’ll add that to the post, that’s a helpful tip!
I signed my doggy up! Thank you so much. I canβt wait π
You are welcome!
I signed up my 3 Boston terriers & my half Boston & schnauzer. If I thought my cat wouldnβt spaz out Iβd take her but she doesnβt like noise and lots of people. It would be so funny to put our 4 dogs around Santa, put our kitty in his lap & our 2 ferrets one in each hand. Santa might be a little overwhelmed by us! π€£Since itβs a 25 minute drive there I decided just on the dogs. If we can get all 4 of them to sit still and look at the camera it will be a miracle! They are so excited at the sight of people! They think itβs that many more hands to pet them. They are complete spazs.
Hahaha! Sounds like it will be a lot of fun with your troop, NikkiLLM5!
We took our 110lb Presa Canario in a red sweater and it was so much fun!!!
Aww, that sounds adorable!
Bo is a chocolate lab who will be 11 on December 8th I am so grateful to get his Santa picture this year!
How exciting! Happy Birthday to Bo! π₯³
Make sure to take ur own pictures, they lost mine.Said they best they could do was to bring me back in on a different day,I was/am very upset.
Bummer! SO sorry to hear about that. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Can parents be in the picture with their pets?
We did our pics this morning and yes! I had the option.
My 4 little girls want to join their brother ( our 8 year old Boxer ) for his pic with Santa. Can family members join or is it pets only?
Hey Nicole! Be sure to ask your store! Another reader had shared that their store will let family members join in. It may vary by location.
Anyone can be in the picture with the pet and Santa — parents and kids. They take one with their iPad and email it to you about 24 hours later. I always ask them to take a couple with my phone because with kids and a dog sometimes you need multiple shots to get a decent one.
Thanks a ton for sharing, Jill!!π Great idea to takes some with your phone, too!!
I donβt have pets ,can just my little kids take pictures with Santa ?
Hey Varsha! You may want to call your store ahead of time to confirm they are participating and ask if they will allow that.π₯°
