Peanut Butter Bacon Burger

Skippy peanut butter is gluten-free and contains no preservatives, artificial flavors, or colors. And while this is a lot of PB, it can be used in SO many ways! 🥜

Add it to burgers, smoothies, fruit, dips, coat the bottom of ice cream cones, swirl into brownie batter, top pancakes, waffles, and ice cream, drizzle over popcorn or yogurt, overnight oats, and even it to get gum out of your kiddo’s hair! 😱

Wondering what else to do with all that PB? We have some ideas…

Just wondering if there’s a difference between peanut butter and peanut butter spread? I can’t see anything obvious from the ingredient labels…
    Thanks, H2S!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there aldaadmin! 💞 Great question! I did a quick search on this and found two different answers on why this may be. The first says “palm oil is what keeps the Skippy smooth and emulsified. It’s also what makes it a spread. Peanut butter requires the use of hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil as a stabilizer and since palm oil is neither, the Skippy Natural must be called a spread.” The second was “U.S. Food and Drug Administration standards require peanut butter to contain no less than 90 percent peanuts and no more than 55 percent fat to be labeled “peanut butter.” Anything outside these parameters must be labeled “peanut-butter spread.” SO interesting, and something I wouldn’t have thought to check in to if you hadn’t asked! 🥜 Hoping this is helpful with your purchasing decision! 🤗

Too bad, gotta have chunky. Why is it the grocery stores will have both creamy and chunky when it’s on sale, but Amazon only has creamy on special?

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Thanks for letting us know which kind you prefer, Pat. We’ll be sure to share any sales we find on chunky peanut butter too! 🤗💞
