Great question! It may depend on your location. I have heard that some have had to ask for it in past years. You could always double check with your location and set a reminder for yourself. Hoping you can score one tomorow! 🥰🤗
You have to ask for it. I just posted that. They are not putting them out which I think is not very nice for people who spend there and might not have seen this yet and it’s no longer on the APP
I went around 6am this morning and they handed it to me without me asking for it. They did so with the vehicle in front of me as well and ended up explaining to that person what it was for because they didn’t know why they were being given a free cup. It probably depends on the store and the cashier as to how freely they are given out.

Last year i was behind someone with 2 people in the drive thru and they told them it was suppose to be done as 2 separate orders to receive 2 cups.

Nope! Just be sure to order a holiday handcrafted beverage. You may also want to ask for the cup, as some have reported that they have had to ask for the offer in order to receive it in past years. Hope that is helpful!

I got the cup last year. It is cute, however, it isn’t large enough for the drinks I buy so I haven’t used it. Would like to hear from others if they have used their cups and when they do what do they order.
I’m in the same boat. I only use it when I make boba tea drinks at home but never at SB. I feel like getting this cup for 25 points and 10 cents off is not worth it when you are already paying approx $6 – $8 for a drink.
I got mine this am at 6:30. NOTE they are not putting them out and the offer is no longer on the APP. They are only giving if you ask for it because they said “they sell out”.

At my local Starbucks they gave two to me (2 drinks) without me asking for one. This was at 8:30 am. I live in MA.

SB Barista here, at my store, we were giving them out when they ordered a holiday drink, they didn’t even have to ask. Also, we had no problem with offering them on the app as long as we still had them. I left at 1:00PM after starting at 4:30AM, and we still had boxes and boxes of them!

I scored 2 here around 11am I asked if they had them before I ordered just to be safe. I saw one car in front of me get one and the next didn’t but I don’t know what was ordered. Thanks for all the tips and info I think my wife is gonna love it.

I was able to get my red cups today…
I asked did the red cup come with a hot chocolate they said oh I have to check and see they went and asked came back and said yes it does… I order 2 large hot chocolates… I went inside to do my orders… Then they just gave me my drinks in the holiday cups.
I ask for the red cups and they told me they couldn’t pour it in the red cup… So I asked for 2 red cups since they came with the drinks I ordered… Then they gave them to me…
I went first thing this morning when they opened and there were not letting people know about the red cups…
People were like how you get the red cup…
I was like you have to order a certain drink to get it then showed them the list of drinks for the red cup…
