Ready to deck the halls and score some hot deals? Head to Target!

The store is hoping to save customers money this holiday season. We previously reported that the company planned to lower the price on over 5,000 popular items over the summer (they ended up slashing prices on almost 8,000 items instead).

Now, Target has announced that they are reducing prices on over 2,000 more items for the holidays!

These items will be both Target owned items and national brands. You’ll spot savings on products like groceries, everyday essentials, holiday gifts, and seasonal home decor.

Expect lower prices on some toys, board games, beauty products, bath towels, toilet paper, cold medicine, beverages, ice cream, snacks, frozen vegetables, and more.

Target New Lower Prices

For some price drops, you may spot them easily in store with red “New Lower Price” tags.

Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter Price Drop

Just keep in mind, not all price drops will have the new price drop tag so you might have to look a bit closer to spot the savings in-store. You can see from the price tag above (taken this summer) showing that Kerrygold 8oz salted butter is now $3.99, but was $4.99!

Good grief! $0.20 off isn’t lowering prices to me! They need to lower prices more than that to get me in the door!

I agree! Lowering by a few cents here and there isn’t helping us much! Lol

    • Target for the win!

I disagree. Every little bit helps esp if you have a circle card for an extra discount. Plus it keeps Target competitive for savvy shoppers!

  2. Peaches

Our local Target has gotten so much more expensive that their Redcard discount is no longer enough to be competitive with other stores.

Agree. I hardly shop at Target anymore.

        Same

I don’t see how this is a deal

  4. Pamela

For the most part, Target has become too expensive for me to bother with. Things I used to buy there I get on Amazon and don’t need the $35 shipping threshold.

Keep an eye out for the prices during checkout. Target lowers the ticket price but items often scan at the more expensive price. This has happened to me several times and I’ve had to ask the employee to manually make the update.

Oh wow! Thank you for that warning! Good to watch for!
