According to our team, here are 6 products you must scoop up during the ULTA 21 Days of Beauty Sale 2023:
1. Mac Lipsticks are creamy and rich, do not feather, and last a whopping 10 hours!
Been my go-to for 20 years. Love the pigment and smooth texture. Not goopy at all. Such great quality. – Hip Sidekick, Lina
I also second the MAC lipstick. “Verve” is such a staple and complements so many skin tones. Plus, they last forevaaaaa. – Hip Sidekick, Madison
2. Sunday Riley has an impressive reputation for amazing skincare items.
Any Sunday Riley Product. Excited to see what it is this year! It’s a surprise it says. I use Good Genes every day and have loved all the products that I have tried so far. – Hip Sidekick, Lina
3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade & Brow Brush is the perfect combo for flawless brows.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade & Brush – $9-$10.50 (regularly $18-$21)
*Sale date is August 30th, 2023.
Excellent quality. has lasted a long time. Takes a few tries to practice, but I enjoy using it. I like the helpful angled brush to apply. Great deal if it’s on sale! – Hip Sidekick, Lina
4. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter will make your eyes the star of any room.
Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter – $20 (regularly $40)
*Sale date is September 2nd, 2023.
I also recommend Fenty Beauty products. I own a discontinued highlighter from Fenty and love it…BUT I should note that it’s not particularly subtle. That shimmer is no joke! Not for the faint of heart. – Hip Sidekick, Madison
5. Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All-In-One Cream will give your skin a dewy, glowy look.
This stuff seems great! I have the little tub of it but the bottle seems like a smarter package. – Hip Sidekick, Emily
I’m obsessed with Cosrx Snail Mucin so I’m really excited to try this all-in-one cream! – Hip Sidekick, Jessica B.
6. Tarte Fake Awake Vegan Waterline Highlight Eyeliner will instantly make you look more awake.
Tarte Fake Awake Vegan Waterline Highlight Eyeliner – $11 (regularly $22)
*Sale date is September 15th, 2023.
This eyeliner is super trendy and does work great! – Hip Sidekick, Emily
Here are 3 sales you should skip this year according to our team’s experience:
1. Our team is not a fan of BeautyBlender sponges.
Gotta say SKIP on the beauty blender. There are so many great dupes (usually in multipacks) for a quarter of the price! – Hip Sidekick, Madison
I totally agree on skipping the Beauty Blender brand sponges – so many good dupes! – Hip Sidekick, Emily
I third skipping the beauty blender! I think the ULTA name-brand ones (that are still less than their sale price) work better and last longer. I don’t like how the Beauty Blender sponge has pieces that crumble off easily and not long after you open it + the hot pink color would always leak pink dye when I washed it so I can’t imagine what you’re really pressing into your skin every time you use it. – Hip Sidekick, Sara
2. Peace Out Salicylic Acid Acne Day Dots are just too pricey.
Soooo many dupes that work just as well at a lower price + more bang for your buck – Hip Sidekick, Madison
3. Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lip Kit has lots its allure.
Kylie Matte Lip Kit. I used to love these until I discovered Colourpop lip products are a dupe that are better and cheaper – Emily

The “Fake Awake” pencil by Tarte looks promising, but all of the recent reviews on the ULTA website state that it’s very light and has very little staying power. 😕Darn!!
Oh bummer! Thanks for sharing what you found in the reviews on that eyeliner. Our Hip sidekick, Emily, has tested it before and really loves it! Hoping you might like it too, if you give it a try! 🤞💗
