This blender is just amazing. I’ve had others and nothing comes close, not even my heavy duty professional bar blender (which is now at the dump). I use mine mainly for chopping vegetables, bread crumbs, etc. and making smoothies, but I have whipped eggs for omelets, made hollandaise, mayonnaise, pesto, and gravy. It does an excellent job. Smoothies have no fibrous material from fruits, they are perfect. Those irritating strawberry seeds don’t survive. There is nothing left to clean out of the blades. Just rinse and move on. I also make iced coffees and slushies using a special thickener and they are great.
Don’t think about it. Just buy it! If you are like me (20 years ago) looking and shopping around and comparing different green drink machines like the Ninja and Nutribullet and comparing them to a Vitamix, I can advise you, do not hesitate and just buy the Vitamix now. In the end, it will save you a lot of money, headache, disappointment, and time.
The Ninja (although cheaper and for good reason) advertises their machine as completely pulverizing things like seeds from berries but to your disappointment, it will not. You will still get grit in the drink and at the bottom of the glass. So then I moved on a few years later and purchased the Nutribullet. It did a better job than the Ninja however, it still did not completely pulverize the way a Vitamix can. And when it comes to making baby food, you cannot risk having chunks of food left behind in their food.
Therefore, save yourself and just buy the Vitamix. This set is an amazing value. Mine did not come with the Dry Machine and I want to buy that as a separate attachment. Which is going to cost me more money. So I hope you see what I mean.
