Looking for FREE Valentine printables to share with your child’s classroom or friends?
Free printables can make such a fun and easy DIY Valentine’s Day! That’s why I’m excited to share 7 clever ideas that your kids or grandkids will enjoy making and sharing with friends this year. This could be done on a smaller scale just for close friends, or done for an entire class, it’s up to you!
Some of these ideas can be paired with inexpensive items from stores like Dollar Tree. All you have to do is print our free cards at home or at a local print shop and then attach the corresponding treat or item that’s meant to go with it. Your child can write a special message on the back or just include their name.
Even better, you can print these out with the help of an HP Instant Ink Subscription, which is only 99¢ a month! You’ll get a $10 credit when you sign up for an HP Instant Ink Subscription, and it saves you 50% on your ink. Not only does it come in handy for these Valentine’s tags, but it’s also great for our entire collection of free printables!
1. Ring Pop Valentines
Grab some fun Ring Pops and have the kids make these Valentines! You can sometimes even find Ring Pops at Dollar Tree. Simply cut out the cards and attach a Ring Pop candy ring; I used mini clothespins, but tape or a stapler would work too!
2. Pop Rocks Valentines
Pop Rocks classic fizzy candy is always a hit with kids and this Valentine is easy to put together with our free printable cards and small packets of Pop Rocks candy. Just use washi tape to attach it!
3. Mad Libs Valentines
Remember doing Mad Libs as a kid? It’s a fun game in which you list out adjectives, adverbs, nouns, etc., and fill in the blank spaces of a story with your list of words. When you read the story out loud with all the random answers, it really is silly and funny!
Buy a book of Mad Libs and then roll up a page and attach one of these free printable cards for a fun idea!
4. Chewing Gum Valentines
Small packs of chewing gum from Dollar Tree are perfect for this idea. Just print these cards and attach a pack of gum with glue or tape. Easy peasy!

If the force is strong with your little Star Wars fans, be sure to print out these fun cards! You can easily attach candy, Star Crunch treats, or Star Wars fruit snacks like I did above.
6. DIY Slime Valentines
Slime is still popular and fun to make! Use your own favorite slime recipe or make this easy and satisfying crunchy slime for Valentine’s Day to gift to friends by sticking our free printable labels on top of 2 oz. small cups with lids. It’s a fun and festive project to do with the kids, even if you keep all the slime to yourselves!
7. DIY Crayon and Coloring Sheet Valentines
Make these DIY crayon Valentines that kids can color themselves! Just attach some small packs of crayons to these FREE printable cards I’ve designed, and you’ll have a cute classroom Valentine with an activity. How fun for kids to help with! To make them even more sturdy, I attached some colorful cardstock to the back of each card.

I found squishmallow vinyl stickers on Amazon and my daughter is going to put them in ziplock bags with a note that says, “I squish you a Happy Valentine’s Day!” I love that it’s not plastic toy clutter and doesn’t include candy.
What an adorable idea! Thanks for sharing that, Cher! ❤️
