I Will NEVER Use a Regular Sponge Again Thanks to Scrub Daddy
Who’s Your Daddy? The Scrub Daddy!
You may be asking, what exactly is a Scrub Daddy? While it sounds like it is simply a daddy who scrubs your dishes (although some of you may already have one of these in your life!), the Scrub Daddy I’m referring to is a scratch-free cleaning tool that debuted on Shark Tank back in 2012.
If you’re not familiar with these smiley sponges, their texture changes depending on the water temperature so they stay firm in cool water (great when you need to remove stuck-on food) and then soften up in warm water for regular cleaning. And they are scratch-resistant so you never have to worry about ruining your expensive pans or dishes!
But my favorite feature is the fact that they do not absorb smelly odors and food does not stick to them (unlike some sponges that seem to get really yucky really quickly) – so the Scrub Daddy should last you for several weeks! I literally use mine until it has almost disintegrated into nothing.
Since we’re currently living in our tiny guest house, we don’t have a dishwasher in the kitchen and do all of our dishes by hand. I don’t think I could do it without my super handy Scrub Daddy. 😆 I’m serious, I absolutely LOVE this sponge! – Collin
And since the lifespan of a Scrub Daddy can be up to several weeks, these are a great option for a budget-conscious family. A Scrub Daddy 3-pack sells for $9.99 at Bed, Bath & Beyond, so just $7.99 if you have a 20% off coupon – that makes each Scrub Daddy sponge just $2.66!
On the fence? Check out all the awesome reviews on Amazon.com! They’ve even extended the Scrub Daddy line to include a new Scrub Mommy sponge (however, no Scrub Babies have been born yet 😂). You can also find various sponges, erasers, scour pads, and even a cheerful dishwand system that will make you smile while you wash.
I heard this were great. I will have to try it. I go through so many sponges!
Hope you love it as much as we do, Ann!
I love Scrub Daddy sponges. They are the only sponge I will use.
SWEET! Thanks a bunch for the feedback, Ivette! Super glad you have been loving the Scrub Daddy too!
Interesting…I will need to look into this. I use the scrub sponges from IKEA, thy may not be the best, but I like them.
Hope you like these too, if you decide to give them a try!
I like the scrub daddy rectangular ones better.
Thanks, Sue! We’ll have to look for those!
