Here are the amazing qualities I love about Beauty By Earth self-tanner:
- It smells good. The scent is a light coconut and very pleasant compared to other brands I’ve tried. (And I’m someone who is very sensitive to beauty product smells).
- Even coverage. Elbows, fingers, knees, & feet tend to be dead giveaways that you’re wearing a self-tanner so I was pleasantly surprised to witness seamless & even coverage on every part of my body after my application.

Hi, Jessa. I’m sure you noticed, but those lines are in both photos and are from a bathing suit I’ve been wearing all summer to the pool with my kiddos. Given that I already had tan lines, the self-tanner isn’t something that will eliminate existing tan lines and it only enhances the natural color you already have. As I mentioned, it is buildable so if you’re looking to get rid of tan lines you could certainly do more applications. However, I was thrilled with my results after just one application so I stuck with that. If you give it a try, you’ll have to let me know what you think! š
Sure. Ive tried St. Tropez face and got a little allergic reaction so i stopped that. I also have 2 St. Tropez body sprays but obviously i was not willing to try those. Ill sell those on ebay or mercari but i have Jergens after shower tanner you put on when your wet. I purchased through a link here but i am apprehensive to try. The wet part seems like it will mame me streak. Currently i go to the tanning salon. I am willing to try anything because i am so pale

I have been using this tanner for over a year and I love it! I never have streaks and the odor is much less than other brands. It’s easy to apply and looks natural. Hey Shay! I loved using the mousse on my face since it’s much lighter and you have less chance of streaking with a mousse so that’s why I used it. I think both products are great though and if your budget only allowed for one I would just recommend getting whatever you think you’ll love most because they’re both great!

Hey Colleen! I have used the regular self-tanner on my face and it worked totally fine! I’d recommend moisturizing your face first, then starting with a very light layer on your skin and waiting the full amount of time to see if more needs to be added. I hope this helps!

I bought this last time hip2save posted it. I am super pale with red undertones and rosacea. I already had a mitt so I saved money there. This stuff went on smooth, although I had a few blotchy spots. Easy to touch up though. The smell was light and it did not smell like other self tanners I have used, and I have used them all. The color was good, not orange like most of the other tanners. And since the foam is white, it will not stain clothes or sheets. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and will continue to buy this tanner.
I also forgot to mention the tan lasted 4-5 days. So, if I reapply every 4 days, I can have a nice tan all the time.

Okay. Iām sold, but slightly stressing over all the options. Do I choose mousse? Do I choose lotion? Can you apply either / or with mitt and/ or brush? Guidance, please. (It looked like each team member chose one or the other, did anyone try both and have a preference?)
Oh no! I definitely don’t want you to feel stressed, RELM! I have used nearly all of their self tanner products so if I could only choose one it would be their lotion and the mitt for application. I feel that the lotion doesn’t absorb quite as quickly so I get better and more even coverage. Ultimately, I think all their products are great and you really can’t go wrong. š I hope this helps!
