Since swim diapers are basically meant to do the opposite job of regular diapers and NOT absorb all that water in the pool, it’s important to know which brands actually work! We have a 9 year old special kid who wears size 7 diapers. He is on a mostly liquid diet. The ONLY diapers that do not leak with every urination are Huggies Overnight. They are expensive, and they are probably not environmentally-friendly, but they are a necessity for us. He wears them 24/7. Without them, we have to change his pants 6 times a day. That’s a lot of laundry.
Diapers definitely vary by baby so worth buying a small amount and trying them out. I do this by finding unopened packs on Marketplace to save more or I take advantage of the money back guarantees when there are blowouts or rashes. For us the Kirkland brand at Costco has been the winner.
