Here’s how you can earn easy Amazon Prime Day Credits:
1. Consolidate prepaid cards onto one Amazon gift card.
If you have an assortment of prepaid cards with leftover money on them, use them to reload your Amazon Gift Card and combine the smaller amounts into one lump sum to spend all in one place.
To do this, head over to Amazon’s gift card reload page and type in whatever remaining balance you have left on your card in the “$ Other” field. Add the card to your cart and head to checkout, then add that prepaid card as your form of payment. Once the transaction is complete, you can delete that card from your account.
For more instructions, check out our detailed post on how to convert Visa gift cards into Amazon cash.
*Note – the minimum amount to reload is $5
2. Score an instant gift card upon approval of an Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature card.
If you’re comfortable taking on a new credit card, Amazon is offering existing Prime Members up to a $200 Amazon gift card when they’re approved for the Amazon Prime Visa Card.
If approved, you’ll receive the gift card instantly, and you’ll be able to earn money back with every purchase. Plus, if you’re a frequent Amazon shopper, those rewards really do add up quickly over time!
Plus, with your new card, you’ll receive 5% back at Amazon, Whole Foods Market, and Chase Travel with an eligible Prime membership. During Amazon Prime Days, cardholders can even earn 7% back with No-Rush shipping, or 10% back on select products!
You’ll also earn 2% back at participating restaurants, gas stations, and local transit (including rideshare), and 1% back on everything else. Best of all, there’s no annual credit card fee! 🤩
3. Get a $20 to $80 credit when you’re approved for an Amazon Store card.
Prime members who are approved for an Amazon Store Card can receive an instant Amazon gift card for up to $80! The Amazon Store Card gets Prime members 5% back at Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market. This card has no annual fee, and eligible purchases have 0% APR. Non-eligible purchases have a 29.99% APR, so use your card with this in mind.
4. Link a Discover card to score $20 off your next purchase.
Through July 25th, you can score $20 off your next purchase when you add a Discover card to your Amazon wallet! Then, when shopping deals, look for items shipped & sold by Amazon and total $20.01 or more. You can use promo code PDDISCO25 at checkout and use your linked Discover Card to snag the $20 discount!
Note that this offer is not available to anyone who removed and re-added their Discover card after 6/17/2025.
3. Become a member of the Amazon Shopper Panel to score free Amazon cash.
Hip2Save readers and team members absolutely LOVE the Amazon Shopper Panel app (iOS | Android), which is a super easy way to earn rewards and keep them coming month after month. *Note that this is available by invitation only; however, you may be added to a waiting list or find that you’ve already been invited when trying to sign up!
There are three ways to use this app to earn credits toward your Amazon gift card balance:
- Take the available surveys. Your credits will automatically be added to your Amazon Shopper Panel account.
- Scan or download your receipts for purchases made outside of Amazon. This method can earn you up to $10 per month!
- Complete the offers available to you. You may see the option to earn rewards for purchasing specific items, similar to how Ibotta and Fetch offers work. Space is limited for this part of the program.
All rewards are credited to your Amazon account within the first 48 hours of each month, so you’ll want to get started NOW to receive and use them in time for the Prime Early Access Sale in July.
4. Watch for opportunities to earn FREE credits with an Amazon eGift Card purchase.
In the past, Prime Members have been able to get a $5 Amazon Credit with the purchase of a $50 Amazon eGift Card! This opportunity was available to Members throughout the week leading up to Prime Day.
While we don’t know whether Amazon will offer a similar credit leading up to the 2025 Prime Day event, we’re certainly hopeful! Sign up for Hip2Save’s text alerts to be among the first to know if this sweet opportunity presents itself again this summer.
6. Watch for a potential $12 bonus credit when you use Amazon Reload.
Last year, Prime Members could get a $12 gift card bonus credit for reloading an Amazon e-Gift card with $100+ in a single transaction using Amazon Reload.
This offer was available to first-time users only, and we hope that more new users will be able to score a similar credit this year, too.
We can’t guarantee this offer will be back again this year, but we have our fingers crossed!
5. Look for the chance to score a FREE $5 credit when you spend $10 at Amazon Go.
If you have an Amazon Go store near you, then you may get an additional opportunity to earn a $5 credit before Prime Day 2025!
During previous Prime Day sales, Prime Members could earn a $5 Amazon Credit for spending $10 at Amazon Go. We don’t know whether this credit will be available again this year, but we hope it will be offered again!
7. Look for no-rush shipping rewards.
Getting ready to shop Amazon Prime Day deals? Keep an eye out during checkout for the option of earning no-rush shipping rewards.
If you don’t need a package right away, you can earn a small digital reward or instant discount by opting for a slower shipping speed (typically about a week). Just keep in mind that these rewards can only be applied to select items.

I love Amazon Shopper Panel. Easy $10+ every month!
ME TOO! 💞🙌
I’ve been on the shopper panel since beta and love earning credits for normal shopping. I always do my fetch rewards then Amazon shopper panel. It makes it way easier to remember.
I am on the app. But, so far, I only received the surveys. when I click on “Submit a Receipt”, it says there is a wait list. I have been doing the surveys since February, 2023. How long does it take to be able to submit receipts? I would love the opportunity. Any suggestions?
Hey Debbie! I can’t remember when I signed up (it’s definitely been a while), but I’m also on the “waitlist” for receipt submission. I believe it’s a popular program, so you might just keep checking back. Hoping you’re able to get through soon! 🤞
I was on the wait list forever, and finally was invited to join in Feb 2023, but I am only able to do surveys. Receipt submissions are wait-list for me still. As far as the surveys go, there have only been 3 for me to take so far.

I think once you are able to submit receipts, it could be worth it.
Thanks for sharing how the rewards app is going for you, Natalie. Hoping you’re able to get on the receipt submission option soon! 🤞
I’ve scored over $432 with the shopper panel since November 2020
Sweet! 🎉 Thanks for sharing the amount you’ve earned with the shopper panel, Scott! 💗
Sorry it’s $463.10!
Even better! 🙌❤️
It’s fun! I’ve been on since Feb of 2021, made $508.75 so far. I usually buy dog treats with my monthly payment.
Thanks for the great tips to get FREE MONEY! ♥️♥️♥️
You’re so welcome! 💞 Happy shopping! 🛍️
I signed up for the Prime credit card a couple years ago and have not regretted it. Heads-up that the card also has no fees to use it internationally (no foreign transaction fee), which was a surprise to me. I didn’t have another card with that benefit, so it has been a real game changer.
Awesome to hear about the no foreign transaction fee perk, Amy! Thanks for taking a moment to share how well this card has been working out for you throughout the years! ❤️
Costco’s credit card also has no foreign transaction fees- an unexpected benefit we discovered several years ago!
SWEET! Good to know about their card as well! 🙌
I downloaded the app and am able to get credits for my receipts without being invited. I got a $1 credit so far just today 🙂
What’s the difference between an Amazon Store Card (where you can get an $80 credit), and the Amazon Prime Visa card (where you get a $200 gift card)? Do they both require a ‘hard’ credit check? I’m asking because, for fraud protection, we have intentionally frozen our accounts with TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. It would be a bit of an effort to unfreeze accounts with them temporarily, in order to apply for one or the other of these cards. But maybe the Amazon Store Card doesn’t require the check?? Does anyone have experience with the Store Card?
Great questions! 😊 When searching, it looks like both the Amazon Store Card (issued by Synchrony) and the Amazon Prime Visa (issued by Chase) do require a hard credit check when applying, so you would need to temporarily unfreeze your credit with TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian to move forward with either one. The Store Card is mainly for use on Amazon and is a good option for those with fair to good credit, while the Prime Visa can be used anywhere Visa is accepted and typically requires good to excellent credit. It really depends on which card fits your needs better, but hopefully that helps give you a clearer picture! I totally understand temporarily unfreezing—as I’ve done the same! ❤️
