4 Reasons Amazon Prime Day 2022 is Different From Last Year
Find out what’s different on Prime Day this year.
Who’s getting excited for Amazon Prime Day 2022!? 🎉💻
The HUGE Amazon Prime Day shopping event is drawing near and if you’ve shopped the deals in the past, you know there’s a lot in store. It’s basically a summer black Friday of savings! 🤩
That said, Amazon likes to mix things up from year to year so we’re sharing how Prime Day is going to be different than last year.
Here’s how Prime Day 2022 is different from last year…
1. Prime Day is still taking place in the summer, but it’s being held in July this year.
Two years ago Amazon threw us all for a loop by hosting their annual Prime Day in October and last year the big event was held in June. While this year isn’t much different, it is a few weeks later in the year and slightly closer to, dare I say,…Christmas. 😳 Be sure to check out all the 2022 Prime Day details so you’re prepared.
Amazon Prime Day is July 12th & 13th in 2022!
2. Amazon is offering many more ways to score Prime Day credits before the event.
Just like in previous years, there are so many ways you can earn easy Amazon credits to spend on Prime Day. Except the earnings have more than doubled this year! 😱 Last year, you could earn slightly over $80 in Amazon credits whereas this year you can earn well over $200 if you take full advantage of all the opportunities. 🤩
Luckily, for all of us, the ways to earn these credits are still super simple like streaming a movie with Amazon Video or scrolling through the Affirm app.
3. Competitors have offered more perks this year, giving Amazon a run for their money.
While we may not know what the best Amazon Prime Day deals are going to be for 2022 quite yet, one thing’s for sure, big retailers like Target are giving Amazon a serious run for their money (and business). This isn’t necessarily news to us since they did the same thing last year and started their big sale an entire day earlier. However, they have upped the perks which may have many shoppers spent before Prime Day even starts.
This year, Target has already announced they’ll be having some of their biggest sales on exclusive brands like Good & Gather, heyday, Threshold, and A New Day, as well as top national brands like Apple and Disney which Amazon simply can’t compete with. Also, Target RedCard holders will receive an additional 5% OFF!
4. Exclusive sales for Prime Members are already happening now!
If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can be one of the first to snag awesome deals that have already hit their site! From home improvement to huge savings on Audible, baby goods, and outdoor – you can find tons of awesome deals RIGHT NOW. And they already appear to be better than ever! 🤩
This also makes Amazon Prime Day 2022 a great time to stock up for Christmas, birthdays, and whatever other events you have coming up.
