“I contacted the seller to see if one of the standard products could be customized for my space. Mike took the time to understand what needed to be changed and even created a prototype to ensure it would work. He communicated clearly, timely, and patiently. I received the products this morning, well packed and the quality of the product is excellent. They are sturdy, slide smoothly, and came with screws for installation.”

I am really digging the water bottle organizers. I get ALOT of coffee cups and this will really help.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      I’m loving those too! 🙌

    • barbara

I have one of these and love it

  2. Amy

Love the water bottle holder! For my spice cupboard I bought this shelf organizer thing years ago that sort of looks like steps and it’s been the best thing. You can see the stuff in the back (top step) and middle with just a glance and it was super cheap. I like using those McCormick grinders so using a typical spice rack isn’t really ideal.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Awesome. Glad that option has been helpful in organizing your spices! Thanks for sharing with us!

    • Patricia Goff

Yup. I got one at a flea market somewhere. It is a homemade wooden one that is painted a pretty blue. Absolutely love it.

  3. Lisa

Take a look at dollar tree, there’s lots of bins and trays, if you don’t mind fun colors hidden in your cabinets.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful suggestion, Lisa! I do have some of the Dollar Tree bins in my kitchen for organization. 🙌

    • Cherrill

I purchased some for meal planning. It’s so easy to grab the container and have it all right there ready to go with the exception of meats or dairy that must be refrigerated.

  4. Angela

I like the magazine racks for produce but have to keep onions away from fruit and potatoes bc it makes them spoil faster

  5. Chrissy Goff

Why would anybody have that many water bottles? I am lucky if we have two bottles in the whole house. LOL
My brothers are going to try to make me a behind the door pantry storage. We have so much wood in the shop they think they can make it from scrap wood and then paint it with leftover paint. I can’t wait to see how it works. Thank you.

    • Lori

Let us know how it turns out. Would love to see pics when finished.

      • Chrissy Goff

Me too. Still waiting for them to finish it. LOL

    • Katie

I’m guessing a lot of kids in a lot of sports because that’s a lot of bottles!

    • Lo

I have a insulated bottle obsession lol. Yes overkill but I have a ton. We have a shop also and my fil does scrap projects. Hope it turns out great!

  6. Patricia Goff

I have one of those old metal fridge containers from the 40’s or 30’s with a lid. I put the container on the lid and put all my gravy mixes etc in under the toaster oven (under the cabinet). I also have an old wooden seed packet box that I keep some of my packet mixes in too like beef stew mix etc. Love them. I have an old ice bucket that holds coffee filters in them. Love it.

    • Irene (Hip Sidekick)

That sounds like a great plan, Patricia!

      • Patricia Goff

I love vintage but I try really hard to find a use for it. I don’t want to be a hoarder. LOL

  7. Jen S

Marie Kondo would not be happy with the two cabinet-fulls of water bottles. Extremely excessive 😉

  8. Crafty Bargainista

As I posted the other day, I got something very similar to spice racks posted, but what I got was actually cheaper. Vertical Spice has 3-rack combo for $93.35, where the one listed above is $67.99 per rack. It is seriously well made and has amazing reviews on Amazon (just search for “vertical spice”).

  9. skimperscamp

Another idea for organizing your water bottles is to use a pretty wine bottle rack. I have been using my wine rack for the larger water bottles.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

That’s so true! I love using wine bottle racks to store items!

    • KellZoll

Great idea! We have those modular wooden wine racks out in the garage gathering dust.

  10. tt

I love the idea for the water bottle holders…but I’d need it to fit my starbucks cup collection! If anyone has ideas that work for the venti size in a small kitchen…PLEASE let me know 🙂

    • Jen

I use an inexpensive over-the-door shoe rack for all of our bottles (family of 5 here). I wish I could post a picture to show you. It has freed up a TON of cabinet space, and we can see at a glance which bottles are clean. It fits various sizes and I’m sure it would work for your venti Starbucks cups. We even have hydroflasks in there!

  11. Nancy

I love wine racks for rolled up guest towels as well as bottles. I also bought a metal cd holder and painted it and use it to store extra rolls of toilet paper in my bath room…looks really cute

    • Lisha

If it’s not a bother, would you share pics. I am on an organization odyssey, one room at a time. Keeping the bathroom inviting for guests is on the journey. Thanks.

  12. Jarrod

For nearly the same price, I much, much prefer my Shelf Reliance FIFO (First In First Out) can organizers. They are durable and rotate the cans for you.

  13. pnwremod

Look up Home-man Laundry room organizer on Amazon. It is a four-tiered shelf on wheels that works perfectly for canning jars. Able to fit quart and even half gallon jars. I think I figured I can fit 24 quart jars on it. It is flimsy, but sits in a narrow spot so has support on each side so that is not a problem. Spendy, but totally worth the $$.

  14. Patricia Goff

Wow. I think we only got one water bottle. LOL We just use tupperware and our coffee cups. They fit in our holders. I think they are a waste and more plastic for the land fill.

  15. Jen O

I use an over the door pocket shoe holder inside my panty and I use the pockets to hold my gravy packets, taco seasoning packets, etc. If it’s a packet, it’s in there. So much easier to deal with and I can find things in a flash. No more digging thru my tiny pantry to find things. I don’t have wall space for the clear boxes to hang on the wall. My pantry is a converted coat closet. So it’s a good option for those of us with no space.

    • Jen O

That should say pantry, not panty LOL. That would be uncomfortable! Hahaha

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! It sure would be! Thanks for the update and the fun comment. It sure gave me a giggle! 🤗😂

I have the over the door shoe holder on my pantry door too and I totally agree! It sure is helpful! 🙌

  16. Denise

I actually just ordered the drawer spice rack holder from Amazon but not with the bottles, different brand.. (Lynk Professional® Spice Drawer Organizer – Heavy Gauge Steel 4 Tier Spice Rack – Drawer Insert Tray for Spice Jars, Herbs and Seasoning – Kitchen Cabinet Drawer Storage – Silver Metallic, Large $24.99) I honestly was too lazy to buy one with bottles and have to transfer spices into new bottles, I just wanted my different size store bottles to fit – and they did. But – I happened to walk into DD’s discount over the weekend, and was able to buy two of them in rubber which equaled the same size and spent a total f $8 – so I sent the one back on Amazon just because of the price difference. Otherwise if you need to organize your spices in a drawer, I would highly recommend them.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your spice rack holder finds, Denise! Glad you could score such a great deal to organize yours! 🤗🎉🙌

  17. Chrissy Goff

I have some old crates that I keep in my cabinets that I use to hold all my pan lids. Love it. I keep my tupperware lids in an old seed box too. I love vintage containers and I try to use them whenever possible. I have an old stoneware crock (huge) that I use as a trash can in the bathroom (kroger bags fit it perfect) and an old coal bucket that I use for trash in another one (target bags fit perfect). Quirky but they work. I have an old crock butter churn that I use to keep extra toilet paper in in the guest bathroom. I don’t use laundry pods very often but I do send off for free samples but I keep them in a big old glass jar in the laundry room.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for taking a moment to share how you upcycle items to make useful storage in your home, Chrissy! I love repurposing vintage containers too! 🤗💖
